"My family and I enjoyed our stay at this property. We loved watching the tide ebb and flow every day. The neighborhood is nicely tucked away and we met some very interesting people. It was so close to the charming town of Eastport, a darling Bazaar owned by a local who makes all the jewelry, and an amazing ice cream stop. "The only issues I had Was when I got to my cabin the bed had not been made and the trash was not empty from the people before so we had to go to the red barn wash our bedding before we could sleep that night. Also the ad said 1 bedroom 1 bathroom there was no bathroom in the cabin it was in the red barn"

"The BBQ grill does not work. I did reach out to the owner who did offer to purchase a new one if I went to pick it up but I didn’t feel that was something a renter should have to do. The furniture is well worn and uncomfortable. There were six of us and only seating in the living room for four. The mattresses and pillows in the bedrooms need to be replaced. I would recommend outside furniture for relaxation up by the house. "

"We spent three nights at Cozy Capen Cottage and it was such a pleasure! This little house is conveniently located close to downtown—a 3-minute drive or, perhaps, a 10-minute walk. The cottage was absolutely immaculate. All supplies are provided, with an abundance of soft towels and washcloths in the bathroom; a Keurig coffeemaker, KitchenAid mixer, blender, and all the knives and kitchen utensils one could possibly hope for in the kitchen; and lucious, white 100% cotton sheets and pillowcases...

"I’ve been saying here for nearly ten years. Aside from the stunning location, I appreciate that I can make my trip as busy or as quiet as I want, and there is something for every interest: hiking on one of the Cobscook Trails, grabbing a beer and listening to live music at Lubec Brewing Company, meeting artists as the numerous galleries in the area (make sure to visit Crow Town Gallery), chat with the locals, or just have some quiet time sitting on the back deck watching creatures cavort. It is my favorite place. "
