"This hotel is very special in an old Catalan farmhouse. A truly luxurious experience - really loved it. The staff were super nice and there were loads of free parking options around which seems quite rare on the Costa brava. "Let me say that the house is beautiful - like in a magazine! The view is breathtaking. The pictures do not lie. Elodie and the local manager Adrian were very responsive.
But oooofff, the bugs and the heat are serious. We knew there was no air conditioning but we figured it would be fine, since we are right near the sea and there would be a breeze. We didn't realize you can't keep the windows open in the evening because the bugs will come and find you. And there are no fans. The house also does not have beach supplies like towels or chairs, so be prepared to bring your own. We left behind a chair and some swimming tubes.
Overall, it is a lovely place in a very special location! We enjoyed walking on the Gr-92 to the beaches, and we loved exploring the area. Elodie sent us wonderful recommendations for beaches and restaurants and we enjoyed all of them!"
