"As soon as we entered the hotel we were very pleased with our choice. The reception was a pleasant experience nice and friendly welcome. The room was was clean and modern. The continental breakfast was plentiful and of a good quality. The terrace was a lovely place to have a drink and relax. All the hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The one downside for us was the bathroom door to an otherwise nice bathroom. It was a triumph of design over function having gaps between the wooden battens that made up the door, it was a sliding type door ad also stood off the door frame to much. If you were in the room not only could you see the other person on the toilet but also here every noise This isn't unique to this hotel and I would stay here again as the good points far outweigh that one bad."

"The communication from Hakim was excellent throughout. Everything we wanted to know was available and the welcome from Anne and Mike on arrival was warm.The villa is very spacious, inside and out. The outside area is well established and interesting, and has various places to sit and while away the time. The pool area and gazebo is a great place to sit at any time of day. The pool is larger than most and even has a jacuzzi section. The location is great. An hour from Alicante, there are 3 restaurants within 5 mins walk and plenty more if you take a stroll (20 / 30 mins) to the coast. There are 2 large supermarkets 3 mins drive away. The villa is very well stocked with glasses, crockery and cutlery of all shapes and sizes.We didn't use the BBQ, but there are even two options for that!!!A couple of minor niggles:- on two afternoons the neighbours (5 young men who were only there for two days) decided that loud music was what they fancied. It only lasted a shortish time (2hrs?) but was rather annoying. Secondly, the number of cockroaches we had to deal with. They are a fact of life in Spain, but in 25 years of renting we've never seen so many across the duration of a stay. We dispatched half a dozen in the villa over the first 24 hours, then at least one every night outside. Very unusual. Overall though the villa was just right for the five of us and we had a really lovely week."
