"Room was clean and well appointed. Staff were very helpful. We booked mainly for its location close to the ferry port. Secure parking was a must for a fully loaded car after a long stay in Spain. The food in the restaurant was basic but very good. Maria who served us was by herself, but did a great job in dealing with a busy restaurant. "This was a one night stay before catching the ferry home. Our original hotel cancelled our reservation ( no reason given) and this one was arranged by hotels.com as an alternative. Having read the reviews I wasn’t really looking forward to the last night of our holiday and I was proved right. Check in was difficult as the manager struggled with the booking system. We weren’t shown to the room which was very basic with no air conditioning. The parking area had been taken over by a fun fair and although we did find an alternative it was stressful. One good thing was the beer garden which was a shady place to sit. I would think carefully about booking this hotel and Hotels.com need to assess whether to keep recommending it on their site especially for the price charged. "
