"Booked El Khalil pyramids hotel, turned up, a man said sorry we dont have your booking, you will need to pay again. Interesting, as i had already paid. I check all the details and pictures, same hotel. The guy says we dont have online bookings or listings, you need to book direct only, this listing isnt his.
So i call his bluff, phone the number listed under the booking details, his phone rang... rigjt there infront of me. We had some back and forth, but in the end he was just saying the price...

"We were attending a wedding, stayed one night only. Room was clean and everything was new. Checking in was slightly slow but efficient. Check out was great. Staff were friendly. Wedding food was amazing. As we are originally from Egypt living in Miami Florida we decided to try room service with Egyptian dishes but wasn’t as expected. Overall our stay was enjoyable."
"Fantastic experience. They have some of the best service across all hotels in Cairo. Very dedicated and committed staff. I’m a frequent guest, I’ll definitely recommend it to others."
"The room was really big and comfortable. It was clean and welcoming.
Buffet breakfast in the morning was rich with great variety of food.
Members of staff are all incredibly helpful and super professional. Overall an amazing experience."
"The views are phenomenal, I was on the 29th floor and I had views to the pyramid and the Nile river. The staff were very helpful, professional and courteous and they did their best to accommodate us. The hotel is clean and has everything you need you can spend the whole day in there not even need to get out if you don’t want to. We would definitely stay there again we loved it. The carpet could use an upgrade, it’s a little bit dirty and old in their rooms and the corridor so we had slippers on all the time but that’s the only thing that I noticed that was not perfect, everything else was phenomenal. The pool was phenomenal, the spa is good, the staff is warm and welcoming and the rooms were great and clean and the hotel lobby felt like being an hour living room. We loved this place."
"I had an excellent stay at Le Passage. The service was professional from start to finish, and the staff made the experience very pleasant. My room was spotless, and the housekeeping team did an outstanding job keeping everything clean, organized, and well maintained throughout my stay.
One thoughtful detail that really stood out to me was when I left a few pieces of clothing on the bed before going to breakfast. When I returned, the housekeeping staff had neatly folded my clothes and placed them in the closet. It was such a kind and unexpected gesture that showed their attention to detail and commitment to exceptional service.
I was also pleasantly surprised to find gluten-free pastries available at breakfast. As someone who is gluten intolerant, this was greatly appreciated and made my dining experience even more enjoyable, as it can be very challenging to find gluten-free options while traveling overseas. It was a wonderful touch that made me feel truly accommodated.
Another thoughtful amenity I appreciated was the complimentary coffee and tea service delivered to the room after breakfast. It was such a nice gesture and another example of the hotel’s excellent hospitality and attention to its guests.
The hotel is also just a few minutes from the airport, which made it incredibly convenient for my travels. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and professionally managed hotel near the airport, I highly recommend Le Passage. I will definitely book here again!"
"I come to Egypt very often and this my go to address. the staff is amazing. The service is on point, the Hotel is busy enough and yet very quiet. The friendliest and the most helpful staff ever. Highly recommended."
