The hotel was over booked on arrival and staff were limited in their helpfulness. Avoid this place. Stay in Zamalek. Taxis and uber are cheap and you will avoid being stuck in a dirty unsafe part of town.

Unfortunately, this hotel was one of the worst hotels I have ever visited in my life. Without exaggeration, everything in the hotel was bad, and the strangest thing was the elevator. You have to hold the door from the right and left with your hand so that it doesn't open. And in the end, they consider themselves hotel owners.

the worst travel experience ever, booked & prepaid the hotel for 2 nights despite only one would be used but from experience I knew that an early check-in at 07.00am would hardly be possible - therefore I booked the night before too and sent an arrival notice to the hotel. Again, all was booked and prepaid. Upon arrival the reception told me then that my room was cancelled because of no show-up and now there are no more rooms available, the hotel is fully occupied. No effort whatsoever to solve this "very unfortunate situation", just a message to the guest who just had performed a night flight inbound Cairo, from Nairobi and the guest was told, you have to look for another hotel, unfriendly and arrogant. When I contacted the booking platform Expedia it was a very unpleasant experience too, the person from the customer service desk started with the message "your room is non refundable"....even without listening to what happened.....regretfully Expedia did NOT find any solution either, their final "option" was: here is the link to look for another spot hotel room in Cairo.....well, this is one way to treat customers.....

la verdad es que el hotel se ve mejor en las fotos el tema de que las puertas del baño ni siquiera cerraban la habitaion con ropa de cama de hace 20 años . si limpia pero muy muy vieja
