    AIR CONDITIONED house with GARAGE highly appreciated for its comfort and its location (300m from the most beautiful market in the southwest, 100m from Gambetta Boulevard, main artery of the city, Main street).
    DESCRIPTION OF THE HABITAT:
    This 75 m2 comfortable house / loft, 17th facade, approved by the Bâtiments de France, was completely modernized and fitted out in 2015, located in a very quiet area 100 m from the main boulevard of the city.
    It has a garage, which is very popular in Cahors ... because parking spaces are rare and expensive!
    This house / loft is ideal for 2 people, but can accommodate 4 people.

    On the ground floor :
     An entrance to the garage with space for 2 cars. Laundry area with washing machine and drying rack, freezer and storage.
    (You can also access the garage from the inside at the main entrance).

    A main entrance with spacious staircase to access the first floor.

    Upstairs :
    An American kitchen fully equipped with new with fridge, dishwasher, traditional oven and microwave. American kitchen open to a lounge-dining area furnished design.

    One bedroom, lit by a discreet skylight, has a double bed, a closet / wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

    A large bathroom, with vanity unit, cupboard, and Italian shower.

    An independent wc.

    A staircase of beautiful architecture gives access to the air conditioned mezzanine which has a desk and convertible sofa with very good bedding (2 people), small storage furniture.

    Very bright loft lit by 3 large windows and 2 velux windows with electric shutters.

    Free internet, television, air conditioning.

    Can accommodate up to 4 people.
    No smoking.

    Animals are not allowed.

    The very attractive metal staircase in cast iron (which accesses the mezzanine) is not secure for young children.

    This house is located in the historic heart of the city and in a very quiet area, 100m from Gambetta Boulevard and Cahors Plage, close to all shops and restaurants, not to mention the market (one of the most beautiful in the Lot ) which is held near the cathedral on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.
     2 beautiful Casino Supermarket, one near the house, the other on the boulevard. Very practical, you find everything you need.

    You can do everything on foot, even tours, and leave your car in the garage safely.
    Many buses are at your disposal.

Beautiful property

The house was beautifully renovated and furnished, all appliances worked, perfect wifi, the air conditioning was welcome with the heat. Shops and restaurants a couple of minutes walk, the river 5 minutes. The keyholder and owners of the house were so helpful with up to date leaflets and advice, they made sure our stay went smoothly.

A wonderful stay in Cahors

This property was the perfect base for our holiday. We had no car with us, but were able to explore the fascinating town of Cahors by foot and the bikes that we hired. There were some great walks and cycle rides from the town, with amazing views from the top of climbs. The huge garage in the house made the storage of our hire bikes easy. And the laundry set-up in the garage was very useful. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Gisèle and Robert were the most generous of hosts and so helpful. We highly recommend staying at this house.

Wonderful week in and around Cahors; perfect medieval ville location

We have vacationed in France from the US annually for may years, and this was one of the best accommodations. Great medieval town location, quiet street, in between the current main city road (Gambetta) and the ancient one (Rue National). Large recently renovated apartment. With included parking garage!! Fully equipped kitchen; comfortable queen size bed, lots of open space. Excellent hostess and host -- terrifically good communication before and during our stay. We will return! The appellation Cahors vineyards are to our west and cave drawings even closer to our NE. Medieval "perched villages" 45 mins away. Great restaurant choices within 5-8 minute walk, from local cuisine to quite fine dining.

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans cette région magnifique, que de choses à voir ! Cahors est une ville très agréable, n’hésitez pas à vous perdre dans ces jolies ruelles. Quant à notre hébergement, nous étions ravis : une charmante petite maison avec tout le confort notamment la clim et, cette semaine, elle était bienvenue : A Cahors, que calor ! Tout est pensé afin qu’il ne manque rien, plus une jolie déco avec des fauteuils iconiques ! ( togo ). Sans oublier le spacieux garage, indispensable dans la vieille ville. Gisèle est une hôtesse attentionnée, merci pour les petits cadeaux de bienvenue, si nous revenons dans la région, sans aucun doute, c’est là que nous retournerons.

Excellent séjour à Cahors grâce aux bons conseils de Gisèle. Nous avons apprécié son sens de l'accueil (très chaleureux) et les petites attentions gastronomiques qui nous attendaient dans le frigo. Nous avons suivi ses conseils concernant les restaurants du secteur et n'avons pas été déçu. La maison est fonctionnelle, idéalement bien située en centre ville, très calme et climatisée (élément fort appréciable par temps de canicule). Le garage est vraiment un plus. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de ce séjour et nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement. A bientôt.

La maison est idéalement placé au cœur du vieux Cahors. à 5 min à pied du marché de la cathédrale et des commerçants. La maison est très confortable, très propre (refaite récemment) non bruyante comportant du matériel récent pour passer un agréable et confortable séjour. Le grand garage est extrêmement pratique pour garer une grande voiture ainsi que des vélos. A noter que les propriétaires sont d'une grande gentillesse et de bons conseils pour visiter la région. Nous recommandons ce bien. A louer les yeux fermés.
