We are a couple from Canada and we love to travel! This place is fantastic for a couple reasons. It’s a historical building that is very well renovated, combining modern amenities and classic look. Walking distance to marina, shopping and historic part of the city. You literally walk out from the building and walk in to the restaurants area! Very quiet place if you’re looking to rest. Room was very clean, air conditioned and lit. It has a small safe for your documents, money and jewelry. The size is perfect for two guests, with a living room and a bedroom. Shower with toilet and bidet, which is very convenient. We definitely recommend this place and will book again when visiting Cagliari!

Het verblijf en de kamer waren super. Het ontbijt werd aangeboden van 08.00-10.00 uur. Omdat onze vlucht vroeg vertrok konden wij niet eerder ontbijten. Ik begrijp dat tijd tijd is, maar hierin was het leuk geweest als er met ons zou zijn meegedacht. Van een luxe hotel als deze had ik dat toch wel verwacht.

Die Unterkunft ist zentral gelegen. Alle bekannten sind auch per Fuß zu erreichen. Das Zimmer ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das einzige was uns früh überrascht hat, war das Läuten der Kirchenglocke. (dauert aber nur 1 min). Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung!

Fantastic stay at Palazzo Dessy

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Dessy! It was the perfect location for exploring with so many bars/restaurants/local attractions nearby. It was easy access to the bus to Poetto beach too. The staff were wonderful and very kind. The owner, Francesca, was extremely responsive and welcoming. She was able to meet all our needs. As for the room, it was absolutely stunning and very relaxing! We loved the fireplace and multiple levels. We would definitely stay here again.

Vue sur mur aveugle ! Du bruit le soir & le matin

On comprend pourquoi l'hotelier met en avant la superbe chambre du dernier étage: C'est la seule d’où on voit le ciel et la plus chere aussi. Les autres chambres bien que bien aménagées donnent soit sur un mur aveugle soit sur une rue tres passante sont bien décevantes. Difficile de dormir dans les 2 cas: bruit le soir et le matin reveil avant 8H (semaine ET week end) par la cloche de l'eglise juste a coté Sinon : Peu de services. Ce n'est pas un hotel mais une maison d'hote ou il n y a quasiment personne. Décevant pour le prix.

It was a great stay. It's a lovely place it's wonderful new and everything works . it is however a suite of rooms and it's not a hotel. There is daily maid service. But that is all. Loved the location. It is on a walking street. No cars except early morning delivery to the many trattorias located along the street. It is only one block from via Roma the Main Street along the harbor which is also lined with trattorias. Within walking of many points of interest. About a 15 minute walk to where it is possible to meet tour conveyances. There is a tour information office on via Roma with much info. One less then take the information from tourist information and call the tour operators to see if you can get on tours. That was a little more laborious then I expected. The two tour companies that I used had someone who spoke excellent English however. Englishwas not readily available. The television and Palazzo Dessie did not have any English speaking channels to get news and I found very few English-speaking newspapers.based on the news that transpired while I was there it's probably just as well that I didn't hear it. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and I loved Cagliari.I found it to be Italy without the hectic pace of the mainland Italy.
