"We stayed one night for a local concert at Caldicot Castle. The owner/landlord is so friendly and welcoming (and the staff). Great food at lunch - The steak and ale pie is excellent, as are the home cooked chips from locally sourced produce. Lovely quiet, comfortable and clean room with mini fridge, kettle and coffee/tea available. Great breakfast. Overall a really pleasant stay - Excellent. "

"This was a delightful gem of a hotel tucked away amongst the green fields just minutes from Usk. Our room was ver comfortable and cosy with lovely furnishings. Don’t be deterred by the motorway as the rooms and pub have double glazing so it is silent inside. Breakfast was cooked to order and included full English. We also had dinner which we enjoyed. The owner and staff were efficient and friendly. We hope to get back! We would certainly recommend it."

"What a gorgeous hotel. The garden room for the girls (our two Standard Poodles 💕) was absolutely perfect, they even had their own gift boxes and beds waiting for them, which was such a bonus.
