Unwind in this great nicely updated cottage across the street from Lake Barkley. Freshened up with love and attention to detail. We kept the unique vintage style and added modern touches like new appliances, new flooring, fresh paint and great coffee/wine drinking screened in patio that will fit the whole family!
Community boat ramp is a 10 min walk.
Easy access to Hwy 68 will lead you to all the wonderful things to do in The Land Between the Lakes. Start with antiquing in historic Cadiz, go to the planetarium or bison prairie. Try horseback riding, biking, hiking on and off paved trails, kayaking, the best fishing around. Boat ramp near by. Land Between the Lakes has several marinas with restaurants on the water, there are local cafe style, bbq, and Mexican restaurants. If you want to stay in and cook, fully stocked kitchen and a grill.
Entertainment year round!
We are available to answer any questions, we are the owners and self manage all three of our homes. When you call, you reach "US" my husband John and I are near by to assist or answer any questions.
John and I are experienced hosts w/3 homes near Lake Barkley Ky
& a local gift shop/event venue. We are full time hosts.
We love creating special places for our guests.
We own Stoneybrooke a curated gift/antique shop, hosting creative classes and private events. We fill all three of our homes with "one of a kind" items. LBL Deal

Our stay was wonderful. This residence is very well appointed, very clean and in a great location to enjoy the LBL area. I would highly recommend staying here if you are planning on visiting this area.The host were very accommodating.

The property is comfortable and welcoming, 3 bedroom, 2 baths, plenty of living space indoor and outdoors. The home next door is also owned by this host, so a multi family gathering could be accommodate. 5

Beautifully decorated cottage in a quiet neighborhood

This was our first time to Land Between the Lakes, and this cottage was perfect for us. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, beautifully decorated, and includes all the conveniences of home. We especially liked the screened patio!

Easy check in. Easy to communicate with the hosts. Very clean and peaceful, stocked with everything we could have needed. This was a wonderful place to be able to visit with my adult children currently enrolled in MSU. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Canton (Barkley lake)

Home was very nice, communication was superb. Nearest dock if you are boating was Barkley lodge which was close by. Overall extremely nice home plenty of room for our group of 4 adults 2 teens.

Thanksgiving Getaway

I took my daughter, daughter-in-law and five grandchildren, (two are 9, one is 5, and twins are almost 2) on a short getaway (just two days). The location to all of the things we wanted to see at Land Between the Lakes was great. It was close enough to come back to the house for lunch and a short break between morning and afternoon events.

Bachelorette Party

This was the perfect house to host a small Bachelorette party. It was very easy to find, the screened in back patio area was so beautiful, the house was clean and tidy and decorated so cute. We all felt totally safe and clean the entire stay. On top of it all, the owner was very responsive and worked with me when I was arriving earlier than my check in time. Thank you again!

Nice neighborhood

Very clean and nice updated home in a quiet neighborhood. Nice backyard and screened in porch for kids to play. Dollar General 4 mins away in case you forget anything. Lake Barkley state park and kenlake park within 15/20 mins.

Sweetest hosts

We had a great time staying here while we went off roading at Land Between the Lakes! I had told Julie about bringing my rescue dog on her first vacation with us and Julie had treats and a water bowl ready for my dog once we got there! The screened in patio was absolutely perfect! We played cornhole and enjoyed our morning coffee! The bed was very comfortable as well! We’ll definitely be coming back!

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this lovely 3 bedroom home, close to Lake Barkley, a short drive to Land Between the Lakes and Cadiz. Very clean; appliances were like new. Tastefully decorated with many thoughtful conveniences provided by the host. Pet friendly and family friendly. The screened-in porch room was our favorite! Place to enjoy morning coffee and watch the wildlife. Quiet neighborhood.

Comfortable and adorable lakeside home

This is such a cute little house! John and Julie have truly thought of everything guests may need! Very clean and everything is updated. We spent hours in the screened in back porch. Once the temps dropped, we watched movies on their smart tv- they even have a Netflix profile for their guests! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

This was one of the best VRBO I have stayed in. Very nice and clean!! Area is peaceful and quite. Julie was great host. We come to area once a year and hoping this will be our new annual place to stay!! Large screened porch was my favorite place. We will be back!!
