This is a Wonderful Waterfront Getaway for any Family to enjoy during anytime of year!
Located on Lake Mitchell Canal with direct access to Lake Mitchell & Lake Cadillac. Just 1 mile west of Cadillac, 8 miles east of Caberfae Ski Resort, and just 2 miles north of M-55 near the Heart of the Manistee National Forest.

Great for Summer and Winter Vacation Getaway!

-Lake Cadillac & Lake Mitchell out the back door for lots of Fishing, Boating, Canoeing, --Kayaking, Ice Fishing & much more.
-Swimming in the water from your boat or a nearby public beach.
-Snowmobile Trail located 1 mile down the road. No wasting time loading and unloading sleds all day long. Just RIDE!
-Cadillac Snowmobile Festival just outside the front door.
-Top Notch SKIING & GOLF at Caberfae Resort (7 miles) & Crystal Mountain Resort (15 miles). (By the way staying at this Yellow Perch is much nicer & less expensive than any small hotel room!

Perfect place

Loved the property, the access to Lake Mitchel for ice fishing was great by Big Cove. Parking was great for truck and trailer. Perfect place for our trip. Just wish the weather would have cooperated with us to fish! Will be back in the future.

Close to Caberfae

Quiet neighborhood, and very close to Caberfae for skiing! Entry into the garage to stash our ski gear! Responsive owner, a great little spot for our family and two dogs! Would be a great spot in Summer with the dock!

Quiet and pleasant area

We spent two enjoyable weeks at the “Yellow Perch” on Lake Mitchell. Easy to get to and easy to get to Cadillac, Mi. Many restaurants available. Would recommend the “13th street grill and The Timbers restaurant. The Yellow Perch has a great back yard view along with grill, fire pit, and access for boating. There is a launching ramp about a mile away and there are docks in the back yard. Quiet area and a great area for walking. The Kitchen was well supplied. Only reason we didn’t give it a 5 is the living room is dark and we recommended to the owner that more light should be made available, which he agreed to do. We hope to be able to go back in 2025.

Couples quick trip

Loved the location, very simple to get into the house, use of the dock and firewood was perfect. Wish there was a queen or king size bed in the main bedroom but otherwise a nice stay.

Quiet neighborhood

Place was clean. There was an issue with the oven not working and the owner called immediately. Check in and out was simple. There is not a cleaning fee because he has you clean the house entirely before you leave. Kitchen was well stocked.

Scenic, Quiet, Outstanding Fishing

The home is located on a scenic channel with direct access to Mitchell Lake. Everything in the owners description is accurate. He was very responsive when I had questions and very pleasant to deal with. This is perfect for a small family. There is a queen bed in one room and 2 sets of bunk beds in the other. I would definitely stay here again. The fishing is outstanding.

2022 Fall Trip

House was as advertised. Great location. Comfortable stay and quiet setting. Nice and friendly neighbors. Fall colors were awesome. Had fun in the water with the watercraft supplied. Downtown was not that far away so we enjoyed some good food too. Dewayne was always in communication and everything went smooth and easy with check-in and out. Love the area. Will be back up there for sure.
