Parking great and walked to pubs, music, groceries, etc. 8 family including kids. Kids loved the loft area and family loved main dining/living area. It was a wonderful base camp for Kilkenny and several other places. We loved Portlaoise and enjoyed several trips into town ( only a 10 minute drive) We loved their dogs and enjoyed spending time getting to know them. "Excellent experience. Reception staff on arrival was very welcoming as were others. Room was excellent at a great rate. Found hotel to be very clean. One minor issue was the bar. Service maybe a bit slow even though not overly busy. Overall very satisfied and would definitely recommend and return."
