This is a very nice complex of a country inn and some self-catering cottages in a beautiful location on the Cabot trail. The restaurant offerings are superb. The central area in the lodge has great charm.

Fantastic get-away on the Cabot Trail.
A fabulous ending for a quick trip to Nova Scotia. The Chanterelle Country Inn & Cottages was perfect for us. The staff were friendly and engaging, very comfortable rooms that were very quiet. The food was an unexpected surprise. We had a number of excellent meals on our trip, but this was, hands down, the best meals we had, executed perfectly with wonderful ingredients. Even if you are not staying at the Inn, if you are in the area for breakfast or dinner, it is worth the visit.
