The Space:

Set behind a private gate in Llanos Costa, this 1,840 sq ft single-level house is made for slow days in Puerto Rico's southwest: mornings by the pool, long lunches off the grill, and evenings in the garden as the heat finally breaks.



The Pool & Outdoors

The private pool is the heart of the house, framed by a patio, outdoor seating, and a garden. An outdoor kitchen with a BBQ grill and utensils lets you cook without ever leaving the water's edge, and a half bath by the pool keeps wet feet out of the house. Pool lights turn the space into an easy evening hangout.



Living & Dining

Inside, the living area offers a TV, ceiling fans, and air conditioning, opening onto a dining table that seats the whole group for family-style meals.



Kitchen

The kitchen is fully equipped: refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cookware, dishes, and silverware — everything you need to turn a market run into a proper dinner.

The house sleeps up to 8 guests across 3 bedrooms, and well-behaved pets are welcome too.



Guest Access:

ou'll have full access to the entire house, as well as the property's shared amenities and common areas.

Check-in is self-service: a lockbox at the entrance holds the keys to the front gate and the patio door. Once inside the gate, you can park directly in the entrance area at no cost for the duration of your stay.



The Neighborhood:

Llanos Costa is a quiet, rural stretch of Cabo Rojo along Road 301 — the route that links the village of Boquerón with El Combate and the island's dramatic southwestern tip. It's the kind of place where the evenings are calm and the best sunsets in Puerto Rico are a short drive away, ideal for families and groups who want a peaceful base with easy access to the coast.

- Boquerón Beach (Balneario de Boquerón) — approx. 5–10 min by car

- El Combate Beach — approx. 15 min by car

- Cabo Rojo Salt Flats & Las Salinas Interpretive Center — approx. 15–20 min by car

- Los Morrillos Lighthouse & Playa Sucia (La Playuela) — approx. 20–25 min by car, plus a walk from the parking area

Getting Around:

A car is the best way to explore Cabo Rojo — the beaches, lighthouse, and restaurants are all a short drive from the house, and free parking is waiting for you behind the gate.

- Rental car (recommended): available at Eugenio María de Hostos Airport in Mayagüez (MAZ, approx. 35–40 min), Rafael Hernández Airport in Aguadilla (BQN, approx. 1 hr 15 min), or Luis Muñoz Marín International in San Juan (SJU, approx. 2 hr 45 min).

- Taxi or private transfer: the most reliable option if you'd rather not drive from the airport.

- Uber: available in parts of the west coast, but drivers can be limited in this area — we recommend not relying on it as your only option.

The house is in a rural setting, so walking to beaches and restaurants is not practical.

Arrival & Departure

- Check-in begins at 4:00 PM local time.

- Checkout is at 11:00 AM local time.

- To ensure a smooth arrival for incoming guests, please honor the checkout time.

- Unauthorized late checkouts will incur an additional fee.

- The reservation must be booked by a legal adult; children are welcome to stay as part of the group.

Online Check-In and Verification

- Once you complete your online check-in, you'll receive the instructions to access the property.

- A simple rental agreement ensures clarity and ease; by completing your reservation you agree to our rental terms and conditions.

- To meet legal and building security requirements, you may be asked to provide a government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact info, complete our verification portal and, in some cases, a background check. This information is collected only for screening/verification purposes and is not stored or used otherwise.



Utilities & Weather in Puerto Rico

- Electricity Management: Due to the energy situation in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, power outages can occur from time to time. This property does not have a backup generator. During an outage, we recommend keeping devices charged in advance and being mindful of perishable food.

- Water Supply: This property does not have a backup water tank. In the event of a water service interruption, we recommend using water sparingly until service is restored.

- Extended Outages: If an outage lasts more than 3 hours and you choose to stay, you may request a refund for the affected nights. If you'd prefer to cancel the remainder of your stay, you may request a refund for the unused nights.

- Hurricane & Storm Policy: We want your stay to be safe, but weather is out of our control. No refunds are issued for weather-related cancellations; however, in the event of a storm, we're happy to help you reschedule, subject to calendar availability.
