"Overall good experience at the Cottage Inn, enroute from Palm Springs, CA to Washington state. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool and spa were welcome after long days drive. The property is a little dated but clean and comfortable. Like most highway motels, it’s close to the highway but surprisingly quiet inside. Also the hvac unit, which can be very loud, was pretty quiet, enabling me to get a good nights sleep. There’s no real restaurant within walking distance but a number of fast food places, including a Mexican place that had good food. The included breakfast was minimal - served on the reservation desk and no hot food but adequate. I’d probably stay there again if I’m on that route because it’s a safe bet."

"This was the best Motel 6 we have ever stayed at. Access to the rooms is from inside the building. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We checked in on a Wednesday and checked out Sunday morning. I recommend this motel. I would definitely stay here again."

"This hotel was a nice surprise. The room was clean and spacious. Lisa at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included made-to-order eggs by a cook that has been there for years. There are few restaurants in the town, but Dakota's (pizza) was very good. Otherwise, you might want to stop for dinner before arriving in Sutherlin."
