"Property was comfortable once the AC was turned on. The stinky plug in things were objectionable to us as we are fragrance sensitive. We could do without those. All in all we had a pleasant stay. "I will preface by mentioning this is the only hotel in the area we found that had decent reviews. I gave 4 stars because our room, although outdated and clean, had a strong mildew smell (opened a window to air it out seemed to fix it) and the “breakfast” was 2 choices of cereal, toast, muffins, milk and coffee. Beyond that, it’s a great spot to land last resort. Staff was friendly. If in a pinch, we’d stay again."

It’s not as private as the make it seem there is a travel trailer that is pretty close by. However, they keep to themselves."

"This is a good place if you are wanting to stay near Roaring River State Park. The bathroom.in the bedroom is very small.The floors are all wooden, so they make sounds as you or your family walks. You can hear cars driving on the highway, so if you're a light sleeper, that may affect you. We did not use the kitchen other than the coffee pot and refrigerator. Both worked well. If you are expecting a five star stay, you will not get that, but if you want a clean place to stay, this is it."
