The house is located in the holiday village Eckwarderhörne in the immediate vicinity of the dyke, the ferry dock (including passenger/bike ferry to Wilhelmshaven) and a 50,000 m2 inland lake belonging to the holiday village (with an approx. 500 m2 sandy lawn directly on the inland lake, swimming pontoon and jetties). The Eckwarderhörne lido with its beach hall, lighthouse, ferry landing stage and starting point for guided mudflat walks is around 800 metres away. In the idyllic holiday village, away from the traffic, there is the "To'n Spieker" dyke inn, bicycle hire, children's playground and a 1000 m2 play area with beach volleyball court, badminton court, basketball hoop, outdoor table tennis table, sandpit and swings.
