"Miss advertising of the room which we were very unhappy about as this was for our wedding day and wedding night. It took looking at 3 rooms and none were the one we booked. Good breakfast with very pleasant staff looking after us. Window cleaner cleaning the windows at 7.30am. Tv turned itself on in the middle of the night. Room wasn’t cleaned in the 3 nights we were there. We did take the bin to be emptied and asked for more tea/coffee which they went and got us and very friendly. Would I stay again or recommend this hotel NO I wouldn’t "
"Room was clean. Staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast was average. Evening meal was very good. Couldn’t get any cold water in our room-it was warm or hot only."
"The air conditioning didn’t work. In order to call the front desk, you need to access WiFi and message them on WhatsApp. To access WiFi you need to turn on the TV. The TV didn’t work.
Trying to solve problems that don’t exist only creates more problems. Decent water pressure though!"
"Really clean and smart modern Hotel. On-site parking is really convenient however the park-and-ride is a short walk away and cheap cheaper. I’d also recommend using the park-and-ride to get in and out of Cambridge rather than the slower local buses."
"A clean hotel and a pleasant stay for 2 nights. Parking is extremely limited but the West End Road car park is only a short walk away and both reasonable cost and easy to pay via the MiPermit app (which will give you a Vat receipt afterwards).
The buffet style breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean and the staff helpful."
"We recently stayed at the Three Kings for 2 nights, having stayed there before.
The room contained a very comfortable and large bed, with an adequate TV, coffee machine, kettle, coffee/tea, hairdryer, hanging space, and a fold up suitcase stand.
The bathroom had shampoo and shower gel, and the shower itself was very good.
The property has a restaurant and bar attached, where we had a very good dinner on the first night. This is where breakfast was served which, on the first morning, was exceptional. Unfortunately, on the second morning, some items not required were served and other items were missing and/or cold.
The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, and helped to make our stay enjoyable, thank you!
We look forward to visiting again, and we would certainly recommend the Three Kings."
