"A fabulous building with some very impressive features. I particularly enjoyed the check-in counter featuring a big, sliced log. Breakfast was excellent, both choice and quality. There was one disappointment. Why does a hotel with a USP all about being built of wood have fake, plastic trees scattered around? Please, please get rid of the plastic trees."

"I didn’t like the self check-in system. And it was difficult to make out where to park the car as the whole of the hotel grounds where covered in deep snow. It was not possible to have dinner at the hotel, unless you are part of a conference or pre-book with minimum 15 persons.
