"The front desk staff very friendly. Room was nice but is in need of new carpet. The tv in room was like a guessing game on the channels. The last night it finally showed what was what. The bed . Pillow not bad. Bathroom was very clean. The water park was nice it wasn’t busy. The life guards seemed like they hated their job. All but one seem to have an attitude. The water was like bath water and one day it was even hot. Then another it wasn’t. The floor in the park needs a good cleaning. Wear water shoes. Be prepared for women wearing a thong bathing suit. Kids were like why she showing her butt. Idk it is a kids park."

"Where to start with this beautiful home.Everything was beyond expectations!! The location was perfect. The house was extremely clean and organized. The bedrooms were just what we needed for 8 adults and 4 children. Everyone had more than enough space inside the home for interacting and private time.And then there was the waterfront. The house couldn't have been more perfectly located for water activities. Just steps away. Fun on the dock and fun in the water. There were kayaks and paddleboards so that multiple people could go out at once. Which we did and very often!Robert was extremely responsive. Just a text away and my questions were immediately answered. Although we really didn't need to correspond much as everything was pretty much good to go.I've read rave reviews of homes in the past and truthfully have had some disappointing experiences. This is not one of those. Trust me when I say that this was an incredible experience. So, if you're looking for a water experience with family or friends, I would definitely recommend staying at Pilot Knob. So wonderful!!"

"We loved this hotel, really nice amenities, great rooms. I wish we had planned less activities and spent more time at the hotel. If you want to stay in the hotel, plan to spend a day in the hotel. Breakfast ends at 11 and bar closes at around 10 depending on crowd."

"Check-in was pleasant. The room seemed very clean, even though the property is a little dated. The bed was comfortable. I left the AC off because it was a cool night. When I turned the heat on for a minute to warm up the room a bit, it emitted a burning smell, so I quickly shut it off and opened a window to improve the air quality. Shower water pressure was not the greatest. Adequate toiletries. The room was too near the ice machine and the elevators, which made a loud, melodic noise every time it arrived. Lots of very noisy little kids running in the hallways and a dog barking was a few times after 11 pm. I was glad I was not yet asleep. Didn't eat breakfast there because it was packed with people and things felt picked over even with 45 minutes left. I am sure it was hard to keep up with the crowd! They seemed to have some protein choices, which was nice, but I was in a hurry and the lines were long and no seats left at tables. They were running out of things. Out of creamers. No water for the tea, or milk for the tea /coffee near the end. I went to a nearby Starbucks instead rather than fight the crowd. I would stay there again because the price was reasonable and the room felt clean. I would definitely go down to breakfast earlier next time though!"

"The property was as advertised, very clean with plenty of everything needed for our stay. Email information was timely and complete. Our host arrived on time for our initial tour and always available by phone. The lake facing porch was our go to spot enjoyed by all 18 of us. A perfect place!"
