"Mould in kettle and in the fridge in the “Lounge”. Fridge turned off with milk with a expiry date of November 2025 (3) The ladies shared toilet and floor were disgustingly filthy. Bed sheets were clean but had come wrinkled like they had been sitting in the bottom of a washing basket for a week. Absolutely no amenities in room. Air conditioner above your head which did not work and was so noisy. Have never written a bad review and have stayed in many budget accommodation, but never anything like...

"We loved our time at the Clare Country Club. A beautiful cosy room with great heating facilities to warm the chill of Winter. The bathroom was well equipped with great quality Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash which is a welcome relief for travellers if you haven’t packed your own. "Lovely apartments very close to town and everything you need but still peaceful. Loved the balcony with fly screens! TV is huge and works from the sofa or bed. The only things that could be improved are providing salt and pepper, more than two mugs and turning off the automatic light in the bathroom (it's just too bright if you need the loo in the night). "

"We stayed for one night and were impressed throughout. The room is large, spotlessly clean, and recently renovated — you can tell they've invested in upgrading the space. The bed is genuinely comfortable, and everything feels fresh. Reception staff were attentive and friendly. A nice surprise was the welcome package in the room — complimentary bottle of red, chocolates, and bottled water. Those little touches make a difference. The location is peaceful, facilities are good, and this is solid, well-run accommodation. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Worth the visit if you're exploring Clare Valley."
