What a calamity. Started out with me booking the wrong dates (my fault), but then when I did check in, the poor bloke trying to do it didn't have the paperwork in place. He then offered to show me where my room was and proceeded to explain the route to the upstairs rooms. I carried my luggage up only to find the room wasn't there. Returned to the bar and we went for a walk to a different area only to find the room didn't exist there either. Finally asked the manager and was told the room is downstairs. All good? Nope, got into the room and soon heard the smoke alarm beeping intermittently. Back to the bar and the same bloke had to ask the manager once again. He was told to just remove the offending alarm. (Um, legal requirement??). Anyway, into the room to remove the smoke alarm and the poor guy had no idea how to do it. He needed a screw driver and a table to stand on. Just as well I'm a tradie and had something on me. Finally got it done. Other than the check in, all is pretty good.
Great budget accommodation.
Has everything needed for a comfortable stay:
Coffee, fridge, Tv etc . Breakfast was included and was fantastic.
Food was excellent and reasonably priced.
Highly recommend 👌
room was dirty with a stained linen the tv did not work and when i called down they said sorry nothing we can do with no signal, Wifi did not work so i had myself and two young sons trying to sleep with music blaring until 12am then people fighting outside
the fridge still had other peoples water in it and the cups and spoons had food on them.
would not recommend staying there
Room was dirty on arrival , half eaten kebab left in fridge , air conditioner remote missing and as we had a late check in no car parking pass was left for us even though was requested with the key location. Car parking located right outside room next to hotel and car was vandalised by locals who attended the pub. To make matters worse the staff informed us they knew who did it and management then conveniently weren’t able to access the CTV footage and ignored multiple police requests - clearly protecting locals and don’t care about customers on holiday. No compensation or follow up given for the disgusting room or damage to car. Horrible experience which was a shame as the staff we did speak to were lovely ! But little care for customer satisfaction once they have your money and you have left the hotel !
Room was good for me as I didnt have to walk up stairs with the injury that I have. Down side was the noise from an air conditioner on the wall out side going on and of all night. Just need to fix that and our stay would have been excellent. Would definitely stay again if I could get that room again.
The hotel is a typical Aussi pub. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is good quality and presented nicely. The room was clean and tidy with a good tv. The access to the rooms is via an outdoor set of stairs which got very wet in the rain, and need caution when climbing or descending. The only annoying thing about our visit was a very loud and obviously drunk patron who yelled for ages in the outside area and kept us awake.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The breakfast was the highlight of this property and the lady who cooked it. Location was great as well. The downside was the rooms were motel rooms that you accessed by the outside car park up two flights of metal stairs. The hotel itself was a beautiful historic hotel but you wouldn’t know that from the rooms. Did not hear the band that night from room, but roudy patrons leaving hotel after were noisy. Staff were lovely. As I said the highlight was the wonderful cooked breakfast included in price
