"Our family and dog had a great time during our stay. The cabin is beautifully updated and had everything we needed. It was close enough to Durham for a few day trips and far enough from everything else to really appreciate the surrounding nature. We spent time on the dock, in the hot tub, and by the fire pit. The pond was great for nature watching and we tried some fishing from the dock and had a few bites. Overall our kids enjoyed the space and we had a great time. "

"This property was full of history and unique features. There is craftsmanship in each piece, from ceilings using wood repurposed from old barns to the bed headboard made from the door of the original house. You get to know all about the history of the place it used to be. The property is beautiful and lovely to walk around. You might even get to say hello to beautiful horses and a few other friendly animals or enjoy figs from the fig trees if you visit when they are in season. The cabin itself...

"Property was very clean, has every item you could possibly need in the kitchen which is a plus. I appreciated how dog friendly the home was too, my dogs made good use of the toys and bowls they supplied as well as the “dog towels” the owner left us which was very thoughtful! My husband and I had a relaxing weekend and enjoyed fishing off the dock and kayaking. "
