Whether you are a history buff looking to explore local battlefields and museums, a group of seasoned hunters in need of a base camp, or just looking to relax and enjoy the tranquil solitude, our home will make a great retreat from the hustle and bustle. Minutes from the Bighorn National Forrest, Lake DeSmet and The Bud Love Wildlife Management Area the cabin is conveniently situated near the towns of Buffalo, Big Horn and Sheridan, Wyoming. Access to great hiking, fishing and hunting.

Rural ranch countryside at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains. Rock Creek Roadless Recommended Wilderness Area is nearby. This roadless area is the source of the north, middle, and south forks of Rock Creek, Balm of Gilead Creek, Pheasant Creek, and Ditch Creek. The area is flanked on the eastern side by the Bud Love Big Game Winter Range and the HF Bar Ranch Historic District. On the southern side the roadless area is surrounded by the Paradise Guest Ranch.

Ample parking for several vehicles, RV or trailer.

A very well appointed main house next door to the guest cabin. This home has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with a comfortable living room, full kitchen, dining room and several outdoor seating areas. Feel free to use the BBQ out back while you enjoy a campfire and the view.

You will need a vehicle to get to or from nearby Buffalo, Bighorn, Story or Sheridan, WY
There is public access to hiking a short walk down the road.

Country Getaway

My goal was to get away from the hustle and bustle to rest and relax. Mission accomplished. The property was wonderful and the views amazing. Buffalo is just a short drive away. You can also sneak away to Sheridan 30 minutes away.

Incredible cabin with incredible views! We absolutely loved our getaway here and can’t wait to go back! We loved the privacy, the large deck and outside sitting area, and open skies! The master bed was also very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware. Very clear instructions and responsiveness given by the hosts. 5 stars all the way!
