"We found a bonafide treasure at The Blue Heron House in McCormick, SC. This was our last stop after a grand road trip adventure and it was truly exceptional in every way possible. From the moment you enter the house, the gorgeous lake view and lovely back porch greet you. There was a welcome basket full of goodies, adding to the stash we brought ourselves. Kristina has paid attention to EVERY detail needed to make this home comfortable and full of everything you might need during a stay. We enjoyed 5 glorious days at this fantastic retreat. Husband enjoyed the variety of golf and I loved the quietude of the property by myself. Whoever stocked the house and attended to details is welcome to do the same for our home. Every detail is thoughtful and there is nothing needed to have a wonderful time during your visit. Having been previous owners of a B&B, we applaud this wonderful place."

"Beautiful view of the lake off the deck.the house was very clean.perfect for a family with kids.the washer and dryer were very convenient with the grandchildren there so we didn't have clothes to wash when we got home.there was a nice floating dock to leave our pontoon.2 kyacts for the kids to paddle around safely in a very private cove.it was so peaceful and quiet at night.if you like seeing deer walk around in the morning and the hoot of the owls at night this is the place for you.i will definitely be back thanks again tom"

"It is a great property and had everything we needed. The lake water was down real low, so we didn't have the best lake view but as hot as it has been this summer, it is understandable. Would definitely stay there again if coming up that way."
