My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights from March 8th - March 13th, and what we really liked was the service and staff there. Everyone was super friendly to us and always ready to help. We had some issues with our luggage (unrelated to them) and they offered to let us use their phones to try and contact who we needed. What we did not like, was the hotel itself. The lift had this awful motion that made us feel sick every time it stopped; the aircon in our room was broken for the entire duration of our stay (which is not fun when you're in a hot south-american country); the wifi also stopped working halfway through our stay so we had no internet for the last 3 days which we really needed to be able to plan the next leg of our trip; and the general cleanliness of the room was quite disappointing-we had dead flies on the bathroom ceiling. Finally, the biggest issue was simply that our room (and the hotel quite frankly) does not look anything like the photos advertised on Expedia. The photos on Expedia are very heavily edited and carefully selected so as to not show you anything that might be wrong with the room. Other than that, the people were lovely and the breakfast was good.
