Very good stay - central location, walkable to main sites and close to public transport. We stayed here while visiting the Christmas markets and it was such a convenient location. The staff were helpful and friendly. Work recommend when visiting Budapest, especially the Christmas markets.

A great stay in Budapest

I had read some reviews that had made me a little nervous before going but couldn't have been happier. Friendly, helpful but totally unintrusive staff; nice clean and comfortable room; great breakfast and excellent location.

Fab location

Hotel is in a great location. The airport shuttle bus stop is a 2 minute walk away and the metro station a bit further. Additionally, the hotel was clean and fresh with friendly staff.

a very good hotel

Me and my husband came with 3 more couples. The hotel is located in a great central location, close to many attractions we visited. The bathroom can be better (thin towels and the same bottle of soap and shampoo). The room was clean and good and the stuff were very polite.

Great Hotel, Great Location

Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean, showers we're great. Only downside is pillows we're a bit understuffed, but that might be just a personal preference. Overall excellent hotel, 5 minutes away from the best bars. 10/10 would stay again

Leonardo is now a brand I will seek out.

Stayed in the patio suite on the top floor. Amazing views, not too noisy despite being central to a nightlife hotspots waterfront and ruin bars. Great public transit access. Clean and thoughtful great space to come back to. Clean linens and great big windows. This was one of two Leonardo's I stayed in on my trip and both were superb they are now a top brand I will look for.

This is a lovely boutique hotel in a fantastic location in popular 'M' Square on the edge of the lively Jewish quarter. The informative 'Free Tours' start in the plaza, and it's across the street from the major subway station and buses, including the airport express. Big rooms, elevator, good staff. Lots of restaurants all around it.

Had a great stay. Location perfect for transportation and walkable. The only issue we had was an hour before our check in on route to the hotel we were notified they could no longer accommodate us and they moved us to a new location in their chair (further from city). Being confused, we made our way to the hotel to find out more but during arrival/check-in nothing was mentioned by staff and our reservation remained unchanged. Our check in was smooth from that point so confused is an accurate description of the events. Apart from that our stay was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful!

Great overall experience

It was amazing. leonardo has a perfect location. the room is nice and clean and the service is just fine. the elevator is disadvantage because they have only 1 which is quite slow and serve both employees and customers so you need to wait a lot.

Your place to stay in Budapest!

Great hotel in a perfect location, with tons of restaurants and pubs around, and a short walk to the main sights around the river. If you take the bus to/from the airport, and or the different stations, the stop is less than 200m from the hotel, also connected to all trams and metro lines within a short 5 min walk. Also, pay for the breakfast! It is absolutely worth it. It is a tasty, varied buffet with convenient hours. The staff is friendly and helpful. Five star stay overall!

Usually impressed with leonardo however experience at this one was disappointing and so leaving my first ever review! Arrived and the booked, paid for room with terrace was unavailable, told sorry can't do anything, ended up emailing head office and suddenly a room was available to move into after 1100 the next day (3 night break, lost an evening and impacted a day immediately having to move). Didn't receive paid for room. Room was okay, but needs a refresh, walls and carpet all marked, bathroom shower area all needs a clean as mould and shower heads leaking (both rooms we were in were like this). No milk for tea/coffee provided and bring your own hairdryer- the one in the comfort room was unusable. one of the 8 usb ports worked- and why is there one plug for lamp, coffee machine and kettle- i was crawling under the desk constantly to use different appliances! Terrace floor tiles loose/uneven/broken, and one seat was broken in half so not to be sat on. Outside the room lobby was okay and clean- lift rails however hanging off! Also be aware that comfort room we were put in first of all was at the front and so was noisy as overlooking square. Disappointing stay which hopefully leonardo can rectify as never had this before with these hotels.

Es ist zwar neu aber manche Stelle sind echt heruntergekommen. Hab viele schwarze Flecken, Rost Kalk usw. Dann kam leider auch eine Kakerlake die im Zimmer war, das war nicht schön. Dann wurde leider auch das Zimmer vergessen zu putzen und zu reinigen . Also erst nächste Tag und dann wird es nicht richtig geputzt . Einmal nur drübergewischr mehr nicht . Ja da sind sogar 2 Sterne Hotels besser. Hätte mir echt mehr erwartet. Vorallem die Sauberkeit .

Hôtel qui est mal divisé,rien est beau,petite chambre avec tapis,les murs de l'hôtel ont besoin de rafraichissement,poussières sur les rebords,pas de bar et de gym,déjeuner avec du choix mais les réchauds ne fonctionnent pas bien c'est tiède ou froid,bref ça vaut pas un quatre étoiles.Seul point positif c'est très bien situé près des boutiques et restos.
