Very conveniently located to everything I wanted to do & see. I also enjoyed walking while sightseeing. Close to grocery stores, Rudas Thermal Bath, Gellert hill, Buda castle complex, including Fisherman's Bastion, the Parliament, etc. If you enjoy walking while sightseeing, then this is the place for you. Walk all over Buda & Pest! Good breakfast & friendly staff that will loan you an umbrella if you forgot yours.

Great find

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and housekeeping kept us stocked up with toilet paper and shower gel. The selection at breakfast was excellent. My only criticisms are that while there was tea and coffee facilities in the room there was no milk with it. Also my preference is for firmer pillows than they provided.

Hotel was perfect

Eveyone at the hotel was amazing and went out of there way to accommodate anything you needed. Breakfast had a wide variety of options. Location makes it easy to get about budapest and close to the river.

I spent 8 nights here, and was completely satisfied. The staff is very friendly, breakfast for a small fee was very good, quick walk to the trains or across the river for shopping and dining, and a small fitness room upstairs was adequate for my stay. Parking in the pay lot across the road was a little expensive, but that really has nothing to do with the hotel. I rented a car for the entire trip, but it was completely unnecessary as it is so easy to get around without a car. Budapest is a very long way from home, but if I ever do go back I would definitely stay here again.

Do not stay here

We arrive and were told there was no air conditioning due to it being broken. They did not offer us anything else to help us keep cool. The temperature in Budapest was 28 so we were extremely hot. Our toilet was broken and we requested to be moved room, this seemed like an issue for the hotel. We were told our room would also have garden views but there weren't garden views from any of the rooms (I asked other guests). The food was okay but not a great selection, you have to pay for tea and coffee which is not the norm for hotels. I was very disappointed wry the room, it was basic and put dated, with stains on the carpet and walls. The listing says English is a language but it is very hard to communicate with the staff. Overall this hotel ruined my trip and would not recommend it to my worst enemy!

The hotel is centrally conveniently located to everything I wanted to see in Buda & Pest. I walked all over. I never once rode public transportation because I enjoyed walking to my destinations & sightseeing along the way.

Perfect. Friendly, clean, affordable and a great location. 5 min walk to the bottom of the castle gardens where an elevator and / or escalator will take you to the top free of charge. Great place for an evening stroll with great views. Tram and bus stop close by, look into BudapestGo app. Would 100% return.

Place is walkable to the major attractions . It’s few steps to Danube river right from the hotel . If you do not want to walk, Public transportation is just around the corner on the left . Our room is good for me and my husband there’s small refrigerator and a water kettle. Breakfast was good and satisfying. Staff are helpful even with language barrier. We will stay again .

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—close to downtown and convenient for exploring the area. The room was comfortable, and the mattress was especially good, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options to start the day right. Overall, a great choice for both comfort and convenience.

This hotel was adequate for a three day stay, but needs improvements. The furnishings are dated and the beds are hard and very uncomfortable. The free breakfast was so terrible that we ate it only the first morning and then opted to pay for breakfast at restaurants for the other days. There was little choice for the breakfast and once food options ran out before the end of breakfast, we were told there was no more for the day. The location is great, however, as we wanted to be close to the Buda castle. We enjoyed the walks and transportation is close and easy to use.
