Very nice property located in walking distance to most attractions. If you choose not to walk, taxis are readily available, tram and bus stops are next to the hotel. Close to two of the Xmas mkts and a very short walk to the bridges and the Danube.

Had specifically sent in roomlist for my group and asked that the rooms/keys be ready so group can go straight to sleep..we arrived at around 12.30am and check in took way too long! Other than that ,everything is lovely.

The location was perfect and close to all kinds of restaurants and entertainment. Had a great time at wow...reasonable rates. If you like good food reasonably priced spend at least a few days here. Enjoy the city too. It's beautiful.

Very nice hotel, good for people with allergies

Nice, conveniently located hotel with very friendly staff and clean rooms. I especially loved, that the rooms had no carpet, so the floor was actually very clean. Also it’s allergy-friendly due to cleanliness and a no smoking, no pet policy.

Centrally located in Budapest, this property offered us everything we required for our short one night stay. From the moment we arrived at the front desk until our departure the following afternoon, the staff provided us with excellent service and advice. We hope to return to stay again with EXE Budapest Central Hotel next year for more than just one night.

Very comfortable stay, sadly there were no on site coffee bar/shop/vending machines however there were plenty of options close by. There was coffee/tea making facilities in room. Staff were excellent and very helpful.

Greatest hotel i have been to!

Great hotel, almost in the very center of the city! Could not have picked a better one for the price. Very friendly and helpful staff that go out of their way to give you the best service possible. Clean room with a lot of space. 10/10 Would recommend to anyone visiting Budapest and i will definitely be staying here again next time 😊

Bad Check In and Billing Dept

During my stay I had trouble checking in. I then stayed another week and the hotel couldn’t even find my booking and finally figured out someone had canceled it. They ended up creating a new booking and tried to compensate me for my time with a room upgrade. I thought that was the end of things as I paid for my stay at the hotel and appreciated their gesture. Now, 3 weeks later, I saw that Hotels.com had charged my credit card after I already paid. When I reached out they said the hotel had put me as a no-show. Now I have been double charged and have to go through the mess of cleaning it up while dealing with a company (hotels.com) that doesn’t have a customer service number. On the last update they said that they can’t get a hold of the hotel so to wait 3 days for them to get back. I would NOT recommend this hotel if you are booking through hotels.com, it has been horrible. Also hotels.com customer service has been one of the worst and I am going to start looking at other options or just book directly with a larger hotel chain so I don’t have to deal with this in the future.

Check-in took ages, the room had no mirrors anywhere convenient and bright, there were no spoons for hot drinks nor was there many options. Room overlooked one of the busiest roads in the city, but the windows hardly blocked any noise, it was awful - emailed reception asking if it was possible to move rooms and they never replied. Also got charged on checkout for having water etc from the room’s fridge, when they never said anywhere that they aren’t free, nor where there any prices in the fridge. Fine stay if you’re on a tight budget but there’s no way this is a 4 star hotel!

Didn't get the breakfast buffet because there are many restaurants near by to get food. Very convenient location, with the metro a short walk down and a Aldi down stairs. The minor issue I have is since this hotel is facing the main road, you have to get picked up and dropped off at the back which is inconvenient if you're group with lots of luggage. However the plus is that there are complimentary snacks and refreshments every morning which is nice
