Relaxing Get Away!

Great place to just to hang out for a couple, small or even large group. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck and the patio with the fire pit. Got out to a number of hikes located within 30 minutes of the house.

Family Memories in the Making!

Our family gathered here to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. We needed a home that was ADA accessible and this surpassed all expectations! The views were gorgeous, and the home was comfortable and clean. The amenities available within the home were plentiful and we had plenty of space to gather. The host was very responsive and friendly. We loved making memories together in this beautiful space. We’ve been gone less than 12 hours and I want to go back already!

Really nice clean place. Beautiful view but was hoping for a little more privacy. Fully stocked kitchen and really comfortable beds. There is a surprisingly good restaurant in Fincsstle.

Family celebration

This home fit our family needs perfectly! The setting was beautiful even in winter season. We made all of our own meals and the kitchen was so well stocked and equipped with what we needed. The Christmas holiday decorations were nicely done and the hosts even left my wife a special birthday treat! We had a wonderful, meaningful family time!

I don’t even know where to start. This place has everything! The view is absolutely stunning. We ended up building a fire outside on our last night and had the best time. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a place that is so well equipped. The only thing I regret is not staying longer. If you’re trying to choose between different properties, pick thus one every time.

GREAT TIME GREAT HOUSE

A family group came to visit a family member in the area. We utilized the kitchen and outdoor kitchen a few days and it was great. Perfectly stocked. The fire pit was used daily and we truly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this house. The hosts were very accommodating to our requests. Plenty of room for everyone!!! Peaceful getaway

The house is beautifully decorated and bountifully stocked. The internet speed is fast and reliable, but we used our time to unplug and put down devices. I really enjoyed the pastoral views. We got to see green rolling hills, cows, the mountains in the background and lots of backyard birds. It is a very special property.

Great farm house in great location

The house is just a few minutes off of I-81 but it feels nice and secluded. The views from the kitchen and a couple sides of the house overlook a cattle pasture and beautiful, rolling hills. The house itself is in excellent shape and had every amenity we could want. It was incredibly clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and the bed was comfortable. Less than 30 minutes to downtown Roanoke with other smaller, cute downtowns nearby, such as Buchanan. This location is highly recommended. While we don’t have kids, a family would be very comfortable there. Hopefully we can return soon!

All the amenities of home!

A family wedding in Fincastle Va brought us, as we were looking for a place to gather family from various locations. The Farmhouse was perfect! We only wished we would have known how wonderful it was, because we probably would have extended our stay a few extra days. Our hosts thought of EVERYTHING…from extra toiletries and paper products to games and puzzles…Our brief time was spent lounging and enjoying the property and each other. The rooms were comfortable and everyone slept well. All the bedrooms were en-suite, so no waiting in line! It was my very first time using VRBO but it won’t be my last. Highly recommend this place!

Greg & Joan have a beautiful place. Everything about this weekend was so special to Carla and I. The Farmhouse has everything you could ask for in a relaxing weekend. The property was renovated with tons of attention to detail to make it seem like it was something professionally done in a TV show. We loved the old original items that were kept around to add that special farmhouse character, like the water pump faucet, decor, and a few original refurbished doors on the bathroom. The views were something you dream about and it was truly something special to watch the sunrise/set grilling on the back deck. The beds were SUPER comfortable, and felt so much different waking up here than a typical vacation. Thanks for a wonderful weekend!!

Great weekend, great home & great hosts!

We had an amazing stay and took advantage of many of this homes’ amenities. Our group of 8 enjoyed card games at the huge dining table. We cooked meals using the outdoor kitchen and huge kitchen island. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and lots more. The fire pit offered us a great night by the fire with s’mores. The multiple porch swings stayed occupied and the back porch was great for morning coffee. A few of the ladies even took advantage of the large copper soaking tub! The home was impeccably clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the area hiking, restaurants and even took in a movie. You must go to the Virginia Safari Park as well. The hosts are awesome with their warm welcome and several local recommendations. Book this one now before it gets away!
