About this property
Waterfront home with kayak, view, fire pit & WiFi - dog-friendly
Due to the central Texas drought, the lake has receded and is no longer in front of the home. Guests can walk to the lake shore (~100 yds) or travel the 12 miles to Inks Lake or Lake LBJ which are constant-level lakes.
This gorgeous two-level home is loaded with superb amenities, including a kayak, deck, firepit, patio with a gas grill, and even central air-conditioning for hot-weather guests. This oasis of a home is the perfect place to truly disconnect from the world as it does not have internet. Downstairs, the spacious living area boasts high, vaulted ceilings, burnished floors, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake and countryside, and a large TV to enjoy your favorite DVD movies and Nintendo 64 games. Spend the day at the beach, then come home to get creative in the full kitchen - just shop for your ingredients to take advantage of the kitchen's cookware, appliances, and expansive countertops to turn out tonight's masterpiece. You and the kids will love baking cookies in the double oven! The washer/dryer will take care of those dirty hiking clothes, so you can afford to pack light for your trip.
Enjoy alfresco meals out on the backyard patio while the little ones romp around. You'll find two bedrooms downstairs, the main with access to the deck and an en suite bathroom, and the second bedroom with a small en suite bath of its own. Upstairs, you'll find a spacious sitting area just off the stairs, with a comfy sofa perfect for catching up on your latest novel. The first bedroom has a small reading nook by the window, while the second features a trundle bed, a bunk, an en suite bathroom, and a nook
This home enjoys a perfect location right on the banks of Lake Buchanan, the largest of the Highland lakes and the farthest from Austin, making it the least crowded. Take the boat out to go fishing, swim off the shores, or explore the area with a good hike. Lake LBJ is also nearby and is a constant-level lake. You'll have plenty of great restaurants nearby whenever you need a cooking break. Inks Lake State Park is only 13 miles south, with many terrific outdoor activities, like golfing, hiking, and exploring the granite hills.

Loved the Stay
We had a great time in this home. We had a group of kids between the ages of 1 and 7 and all had a great time. The home is well supplied with towels, bedding, kitchen supplies. It was a short drive to the lake/state park. We really enjoyed it.

Treasure in Llano
Roomy home with Texas decor. Very clean with a large kitchen with 2 refrigerators. Close to hiking at numerous state parks, wineries and Fredericksburg. Beds were comfortable and numerous with quality bedding.
Perfect spot to hang and connect with family and friends
Great common area and very convenient bedrooms and bathrooms. Kids (0-5yo) loved it and we enjoys the sunrises and sunsets over the lake with the giant window in the living room. Would definitely want to come back! We even accidentally left a blanket from our 2yo and they made sure we got it back.

Dirty House
The house was filthy. Especially the kitchen. Bugs along the walls, dirt in the cabinets. We actually excited about the hot tub bbut we were nervous it was dirty and when we got the lid off it was full of water AND leaves. Obviously did not use.

1st Stay in a Vacaaa in Texas
The was spacious and clean. The jacuzzi was clean and the temp was just right. Manager was quick to respond to one of our questions. However, the water was so close in the pictures but so far away when got there it was very disappointing we weren't told the water was that far down. Only other things needing improvement is cookware and cooking utensils. There is plenty of silverware, plates and glasses though. Lat but not least the pressure in the kitchen sink was very low and the gas burners when turned on at the highest was about a med high on a regular stove top. It took much longer to cook the normal. With that said we would stay there again we just want to point out a few things that need attention to improve the travelers stay.
Nice Property, quite location. Lots of room inside and out, great view of the lake , cool sunrises. It was very pet friendly ( if you have a pet) I would not hesitate to book this home again.

Great Family Trip!
House was perfect for our family vacation! Hopefully we can stay again in the future when the lake is full!!
We enjoyed the home. Very cozy. I wanted a lakefront property so I was a little disappointed when we got there but when we left, it was definitely a lakefront property. Filled up quite nicely.
Great spot on the lake. Tons of space. We met up with friends and there was room for kids and parents to spread out and have time together. It was an excellent getaway in the country with reasonable access to groceries (DG Market 6 minutes away, HEB in Kingsland about 15) and nice distance from Colorado Bend State Park (our motivation for this location). The decorations are like one of those kid magazine pictures where you need to find all the hidden items, but here you need to count the various Texas images. Here are my counts (not all exclusive):Lone Stars - 380Texas Flags - 28 (did not count these as lone stars)Texas Outlines - 26Cow heads - 22 (only one real skull, no taxidermy)Bluebonnet pics or paintings - 10Cowboy images - 8Furniture pieces with cowhide - 7
We had a great stay with family from other parts of Texas. The size of the living and kitchen area seems much larger than the photos. We were all able to comfortably sit and talk, play games, etc. We had a great time and will book again!
We had a beautiful Easter weekend at this home with family and I would highly recommend it. The lake levels were low and that is not anything anybody can control.
Property is great and with a big outdoor space in a quiet neighborhood. Wonderful for our family to run around and have outdoor fun. Grocery stores, restaurants, and other outings are about 20 -30 minutes away so plan accordingly. We loved hiking at Inks state park and the Longhorn caverns!

Nice House and Property.
ONLY downfall to this place was the lake level being low and having to find water at other spots. Other than that, very clean and nice place.
We had a great time. We caught fish. We fried fish there. We went hunting doves. We cooked doves on the grill. It was a beautiful weekend. Cool rain some but didn't ruin our weekend. Love to the place
