"Clean, with great amenities for our fishing trip. Exactly as pictured and a good fit for our party of 6. Upstairs bathroom a big plus, tho water pressure limited showering up there. "The house was large and airy, and immaculate. The kitchen was very well-stocked with every kind of utensil, pot, pan, and dish. We enjoyed watching humming birds, turkeys, deer, chipmunks, herons, goldfinches, mourning doves, and squirrels. The yard was large enough for leisurely walks with our dog, and although we didn't use it, the fire bowl was beautiful. I can't recommend this rental enough!"

"Despite the record heat, the AC kept the cabin cool and the lake was a great way to cool off outside. Loved the historic but well equipped kitchen. The only comment would be there is no internet or cell service. But for me that is a plus."

"We had a great time at the cabin. It was very clean and well maintained. The hosts made sure there was ample water and firewood.The property was beautiful with plenty of options to keep you busy.Bugs were definitely bad, but wearing the right clothing and using bug spray, worked well.I did find some ticks on my dog, but this is the woods and it’s to expected.I will definitely be back!"
