"Its a dairy farm guesthouse. We stay here for two nights. The lady who greeted at us was ver friendly. She tour us around the farm and let us see the baby cows and seeing how they milking the cow. Very lovely experience. "

"We loved this beautiful cottage and the idyllic surroundings. The hot tub was an added bonus after long days of exploring. Everything about this stay was perfect."

"By far the most beautiful private space we stayed in while in Iceland. It is very secluded, quiet and the unassuming exterior conceals an interior that will take your breath away. The price seemed a bit high when we booked it, but after experiencing it first hand I feel it was worth every krona and then some. I would love to have stayed a few days so I could really soak in the farm and become even better friends with the resident ponies! It was everything I was hoping it would be! "

The igloo itself was cozy, warm, and beautifully designed with panoramic glass walls that made stargazing and watching the Northern Lights absolutely breathtaking. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The amenities were top-notch, and we appreciated the little touches — from the local snacks provided to the thoughtful guide on when to expect peak aurora activity. This was one of the most unique and awe-inspiring travel experiences we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that combines comfort, nature, and wonder — the Aurora Igloo is the place to be. "Beautiful, small boutique hotel in great location off the Ring road route near Skógafoss and 30 min from Dyrhólaey and black sand beach. Staff is lovely and dinner is great. It is somewhat isolated so dining at the hotel is the easiest as it’s probably a 40 minute drive to Vik. There is a 15 min private walk on property to black sand beach with virtually no one in sight for miles - stunning. At night horses came from the nearby farm to drink from the little pond outside our window and guests were feeding them. A great, peaceful hotel. "
