Bryson Chalet

The view at the Chalet is wonderful and the ride to Bryson has a great scenic view of the river that you get to enjoy each day. Definitely try this Chalet out if you have a group of people. There is plenty of room without feeling cramped

Awesome!

We LOVED this place! The sauna was amazing. It was a nice location. The driveway is steep, but you're in the mts so that expected! The place was super clean and so nice! There wasn't a mile long list of things to do at check out like some places. I would stay here again for sure!

Checks all the boxes!

Stayed here for 3 nights on a family vacation and we had a blast. The sauna and ice bath were used daily, we were provided all the things you need but don’t always bring (dish soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, paper towels, games, plenty of towels, etc etc). We would definitely come again!

Happy Place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen, cozy, eclectic decor. Other reviews mention the crazy driveway, but we’ve definitely seen worse, it wasn’t really that bad. Also, taking your own trash wasn’t a problem either because the recycling center is on your way back into Bryson City.We rafted at the Nantahala and rode the Train. Great fun!

Quiet, Comfortable Mountain Home

Tucked away off the road (and I do mean tucked), this house was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was just the right size for our family and trip. Beds were incredibly comfortable, provided extra toiletries in case we forgot anything, and a fully stocked kitchen with everything in excellent shape. They only knock is there's no outside trash can and tenants are responsible for taking trash to the county recycling center 15 minutes away. The driveway is a little intimidating and bumpy. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the location of this cabin, how cozy it is, and of course, the wonderful views. It was also really nice to be close to Bryson city but also have so much privacy! The beds were very comfortable and the sauna was a very nice touch!

Cabin is clean and amenities are great. We loved the sauna and campfire pit. The washer and dryer are a must for us too. The setting is scenic and quiet-away from the hustle of busier places. All-in-all it’s a perfect mountain retreat.

Overall the stay was very nice! The cabin and setting were great. Beautiful and private. The house was decorated nice and very clean. We were given the wrong code to check in so that was an aggravation. It took awhile to get things straightened out so we could go in. We weren't able to use the sauna because it never warmed up. Instructions would be helpful just in case we overlooked something. The steps leading to and inside the house are steep, so small children and those with ambulatory issues might find it difficult. I'd definitely stay again if in the area.

Quite comfortable place, convenient location, sauna didnt work.

The sauna was not functional and gave a sharp electrical sound when turned on/off. The AC in the main bedroom had a very loud squeaking fan. Otherwise, it was a very private and quiet place, a short drive from Bryson city. The road, including the driveway is a lot of fun. However, get back before dark, as its pitch black on the roads at night.

The Perfect Peaceful Getaway in the Mountains

We had a wonderfully peaceful weekend at the Bryson Chalet! Tucked into the mountains, it’s serene, quiet, and the perfect place to unplug and recharge. The steep driveway might surprise some, but having stayed in this area before, I know that steep driveways = spectacular views—and this one did not disappoint! One of our favorite features was the private sauna, which made for a truly relaxing experience. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed—something we’ve learned not to take for granted in vacation rentals! We spent our mornings sipping coffee and our evenings enjoying cocktails on the deck, soaking in the crisp air and natural beauty. The decor is absolutely precious—charming and thoughtfully curated, like staying in a cozy little Swiss chalet. We loved having time off our electronics and spent our days reconnecting with nature—and with each other. Highly recommend the Bryson Chalet for anyone looking for a quiet, rejuvenating mountain getaway. We’re already looking forward to booking again in the cooler months!
