Staff were friendly and helpful especially the man behind the bar who gave some good advice. Breakfast was simple but nice and again the lady present in the morning was friendly. The room had some damage around the door frame as if had been forced - but I felt safe with the chain on. Excellent location for the station, metro and trams.

I could live here forever, but they said they were full. The staff is amazing, next to none. They greeted us with heartfelt humor and showed a lot patience for long travelers The room was impeccable, with an excellent shower. Although a stone throw away from the train station, we did not hear a single train noise. The location next to the midi station is a hub to access all of Brussels and Europe at large in a convenient way. This hotel is my new home in Europe, I wish I could invest! I want to reiterate the great staff, especially the front desk and the cleaners who always put the guests first. This is VIP treatment at mainstreet prices. STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

The room was lovely, as we're the staff... But there was only ever one man on reception at a time. Both we saw were lovely and professional and doing the best they could but it lead to long waits to check in, check out and pick up our bags before we left. On the Saturday night there was also some very loud women in the courtyard until about midnight which echoed up and even though the window was closed it made it sound like they were right outside the window even though we were on the fourth floor

The hotel itself was very nice. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, and the room was spacious. The train station is right across the street which was very convenient. The breakfast buffet was limited, not really worth the 23€. It was a bit confusing finding the entrance to the hotel. The signs on the outer walls do not match the name of the hotel, and you have to go through this little courtyard area to get to the hotel entrance. Also the area around the hotel is very dirty, but that seems to be normal in European cities.

The desk staff was excellent, as well as, the breakfast buffet. The hotel is undergoing some renovations, but they were not too intrusive. Overall, we liked our stay and the convinience of having a major transportation station across the street.
