Arrival is not possible on the day of departure of other guests.
Maison Clémentine welcomes you to a ground floor apartment with a garden and terrace. It is bright and spacious, equipped with all comforts and a stylish decor. It is located in a house dating back to the beginning of the 20th century. The house has been completely renovated by an architect. This has favoured the conservation of several original features in order to respect the character of the house. The walls separating the rooms were removed to have a large space in one room, offering a loft-style, with large bay windows overlooking the garden. It is located in a peaceful haven, close to university campuses (ULB, VUB, Boston University, Kent University), the European School, restaurants, brasseries, caterers, a hypermarket: organic and classic supermarkets, and all services. It is a five-minute walk from two metro stations and bus stops (Hankar and Delta metro stations, and buses 34, 71, 72). It is four metro stations away from EU institutions and the Cinquantenaire Museum, as well as 15 minutes away from the city centre (Grand-Place, museums, the Royal Palace, Manneken-Pis, and much more). The Ring (ring road) and the road network to all local and European destinations are 5 min away. There is a closed and secured parking space in another building, a 4 minute-walk away. It will be available upon reservation. Parking on the street is both possible and regulated (Mandatory blue zones). We give preference to the comfort of our guests. That is why the apartment has a bedroom with a 160x200-cm bed and a living room with a 90x200-cm bed for a third person (adult, child, or adolescent). There is no extra fee for cleaning services. We stayed in this lovely apartment for 5 nights and found both the property and the hosts Alain and Alexandra exceptional. We have traveled and rented extensively and would rank this VRBO apartment at the top of our list. The apartment was spacious, spotless, comfortable, and very close (5 minute walk) to a quick Metro ride to the heart of Brussels. Our hosts were wonderfully welcoming and gracious. We highly recommend this rental and give it an unequivocal 5 star rating.

This was an absolutely beautiful property. It had all the conveniences of home, with an architectural flair. It was light, airy and comfortable. The private garden was a joy to sit in; from the beauty of the flowers and trees to the sound of the birds. Alain was a kind, welcoming and informative host; welcoming us personally and providing an overview of the apartment and surrounding area.

LOVELY STAY

Our host (Alain) gave us a great welcome. The apartment was very well equipped and beautifully furnished. Great location. Close to a metro and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Happy to recommend.

Perfect in Brussels

Alain was a great host. He gave us a tour of the area around the property: grocers, cafes, wine store.It was a bit far from the centre of all the sights, but the metro system is very good.5 stars all around!!!

A Month in Brussels

We stayed in this lovely apartment while visiting our family. The accommodation had everything including a beautiful garden. Shopping and transit are nearby making this a convenient destination to explore the city from.

Highly recommend!

The love and care that goes in to this property shines as soon as your feet hit the sidewalk. It was so comfortable, and the hosts really go above and beyond to ensure a positive experience. It was right next to a grocery store and the metro making it easy to get around. Without hesitation would stay there again!

Very comfortable stay

The apartment was very comfortable, with a very conveniently located metro station a few minutes walk away. There was breakfast provided, with a very generous amount of coffee and other sundries. Alain was very easy to reach when we needed to ask questions, and he made sure we were situated and even saw us off when we checked out.

Everything you need in a lovely, quiet setting close to the Metro and buses. We visited and collected our daughter from the university nearby. Would highly recommend the kind man running this very nice, private place immersed in a beautiful area!

Amazing!!!

Metro is very close to the property, which makes travel extremely easy!! Alain was the best host! He showed us around the neighborhood, and gave us tips on good restaurants, shops, grocery stores, etc. The Vrbo itself was very cozy, and had a good amount of space. Would highly recommend!!

Great city apartment with charme and garden terrace

We very much enjoyed our stay in Brussels. The big living room with open kitchen felt like being at home. You find absolutely everything you need. Alain, our very kind and helpful host, eben provided us with necessary food like coffee, milk and butter. Supermarket and Metro to the city centre are just ten minutes walk away.

Lovely apartment in great location

My cousin and I loved the apartment and had a wonderful 5 night stay. The attention to detail was fantastic. We especially loved being able to have breakfast, and later a glass of wine, on the patio enjoying the lovely garden. It was extremely easy to get into the center of Brussels by public transportation. We arrived late evening and were so happy to find plenty of good coffee and breakfast foods provided for the next morning. Alain was a wonderful host and just made the whole experience of staying there even more special. I hope that we will be able to return for another visit.

Great spot in a great city

Property was a recently remodeled apartment in a quiet, and yet convenient part of town. A quick 2 block walk to the metro was your key to visit any area of Brussels. The remodeled apartment had a wonderful great room, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, great storage areas, washer/ dryer, separate bedroom, lovely, private outdoor patio with koi pond. We could have stay for a month. On top of that, the landlord was very special in seeing to our every need. Even walked us to the metro to make sure we understood how it worked. Wish all VRBO's could be like this one!!!

Fantastic property and excellent hosts

The apartment is located in a suburb of Brussels approx 5 min walk from the nearest Metro. The apartment consists mostly of one room, separated into different areas for sleeping, eating etc. It is extremely well equipped and furnished. There's a very pleasant terrace out the back. The hosts, Alain and Alexandra are highly recommended. They left a generous supply of provisions for our arrival - milk, bread, cake, coffee, home made jam. On the first day Alain took us out in his car for a drive to show us round the local area. Information prior to arrival on email was helpful and friendly. It's impossible to think of anything negative to write about this host / apartment. The only thing people should be aware of is you can hear the Metro trains which run into the late evening - it wasn't a problem for us but if you are sensitive to noise it is worth being aware of. After a few days we didn't notice any more.

Comfortable and relaxing

This apartment is fabulous, with everything needed to make it a comfortable home. We stayed 5 nights, but could easily stay longer. It's in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the city center on the nearby Metro. Alain gave a tour of the area including markets and restaurants. A market with tasty grab-and-go meals is one Metro stop away. We enjoyed dinner at a local restaurant Alain recommended. The kitchen is fully equipped. Alain provided essentials: bread, almond cake, butter, eggs, milk, orange juice, sparkling and still water, tea and coffee. The coffee is from a local market in Brussels. We prefer tea but tried the coffee and loved it. It could make us regular coffee drinkers! After walking all day in Brussels, it is nice to relax in the rockers with foot stools and snuggle under the down comforter in the very comfortable bed. Such comfort was more than we could find in a hotel. Take time to read the guidebook about the radiators. The book explains it very well! We did not the first night and were chilly, but that comforter kept us warm! The garden and terrace are charming and just starting to awaken from their winter's sleep. I would love to come back in warmer times to enjoy them. There is a large collection of books, comics and movies. I found a book about the history of the neighborhood, in French. The pictures told the story. I would enjoy learning more about the renovations to update the 100 year old apartment making it what it is today.

The property was spacious, clean, and the host left some goodies for us in the kitchen. Alain took the time to greet us at arrival, give us a tour of the property and the surrounding area and gave us a rundown on how the metro system worked. I cannot recommend staying here enough!
