It has been quite a few years since we have stayed at Ocean Isle Inn and we didn't remember how nice it was. They are doing some room remodeling and the bathrooms are now up to date and very attractive with a modern shower and lavatory. The mattresses are new and very comfortable. We loved our stay there and they still have the comfortable rocking chairs on the balcony where we spent most of our time watching and listening to the waves. A light breakfast with a lot of variety is provide. We would highly recommend!!

So, there was some work being done on the parking lots which made parking a bit of a headache/hassle. It was also loud, but it didn't last long, and I understand needs to be done before peak season. The worst thing was I had family to visit, and they had to park across the street on basically a dirt road. If they are going to require a guest pass on the cars and for them to park across the street, they should have a lot like the hotel next them does. And if they're parking across the street, what's the point of getting a pass too?

The street across the hotel is a public street that we are allowed to use for overflow parking. We do not own the land therefore cannot put a parking lot on the land. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and we do hope to see you again in the future!

Perfect option for someone who wants a quiet get away to the beach! Me and my fiancé went for my birthday and we barely saw anyone. In walking distance, theres a little diner with an arcade, gift shop, ice cream shop and pier. If you want to go to Myrtle beach attractions its only about 20 mins away. Our room was very clean and updated, all of the staff was so very nice! We will definitely come back!

Beautiful place and location. The only down was getting around in the interior of resort. Narrow passage ways, luggage carts almost impossible for one person to maneuver. Must definitely would stay there again:)

Love the location and very clean! Wish the back side rooms had a balcony. Next time, will have to stay ocean front. The outdoor pool gates were locked - so get to fire pit, gazebo, and lawn, had to walk through indoor pool. Maybe because it was early spring and outdoor pool was. Wish outdoor pool was heated.

Very comfortable stay. The staff are very nice and helpful. The only issue was hearing the customers above us walking and kids jumping. It stopped by 9pm. I would recommend staying on the 3rd level. We will visit again but stay on the top floor. Otherwise, we enjoyed the stay. It was clean and enjoyable. There was a church service on the beach on Sunday.

Cute property with nice rooms. And it is oceanfront Not easy to navigate. Elevator only services the main building, then you have to go through other buildings connected by breezeway. Ice machines only at main buildings so you go don’t the steps and walk over to main building and back.

My wife and I enjoyed our weekend at the Ocean Isle Inn. The room was very comfortable but the lighting in the bathroom was very under par. And Though we didn’t use either pool that’s one of their standouts. Having an accommodation on the beach is A .

The only disappointment was that the elevator was inconveniently located far from my room, requiring me to go through 3 or 4 buildings to get to mine. Also, i had to carry my luggage up outside stairs just to reach the elevator's "ground" floor.

The property is laid out to have 7 different buildings attached by breezeways. We do have stairs that go up to each building. We do have a ramp on the east end of the building for guests that can't use stairs. We thank you for staying and hope to see you again in the future.

The rooms are super clean, and updated nicely. ALL of the staff was very friendly as well as professional. The view of the island is awesome. Parking is tight, but manageable.

I absolutely love it at Ocean Isle Inn! It was my fourth visit there on my days off from work for a Sunday and Monday night ( to just get away and chill on the ocean) If you’re looking for fancy, this is not your place… But if you’re looking for a clean, no frills, comfortable room with super comfy beds, a microwave, fridge, plenty of great channels on TV, and with the most gorgeous views of the ocean you can imagine!, this is your place! Friendly, helpful staff, coffee and breakfast room in the morning and plenty of breeze and salt air, make this my fav get away spot in NC! Did I mention the great restaurants, shops, sunrises and sunsets?????

This is our second stay at Ocean Isle Inn. It is a very special place for me and my wife and try to get there at least once a year. We love the “off season” and right on the beach. We also loved the bathroom renovations. The only negative thing I have to say is the water pressure, not that great and indoor pool was under construction. We would have love to used it BUT I’m looking forward to the finished product for our next trip there. Thank you for a great and always memorable stay.
