Yes we could see the beach and ocean. The room was not clean. We had mascara on our pillow case and lip stick on our bed cover. The shower tub filled as we showered, so we stood in two inches of water. The amenities, pool, restaurants were beautiful and top notch.

We stayed in the historic building in March and absolutely loved the charm and character of the property. The building itself is beautiful and added a unique touch to the experience. During our stay we really enjoyed spending time at the beach, relaxing by the pool and hot tub, sitting on the swings, and having meals poolside. It made for a wonderful, relaxing weekend getaway. The only small downside was that the room didn’t have a smart TV or the built-in charging stations we’ve become used to in many newer facilities. If you rely on those, it’s a good idea to bring your own full charger setup for phones, tablets, etc. That said, it actually encouraged us to spend less time in the room and more time enjoying everything the property had to offer. In the end, that turned out to be a much better way to spend the weekend. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return.

Our room wasn’t cleaned one day. Our trash cans were overflowing. One day the housekeeper, I am sure accidentally, threw away a a bag with about 30 to 40 dollars worth of goods in it. The staff was very noce.
