Welcome to A Summer Hour Retreat, a beautifully appointed St. Simons Island retreat where one of the island's most walkable locations meets the comfort of a peaceful coastal home. With three bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, inviting outdoor spaces, and room for up to six guests, this dog-friendly getaway places the Village Pier, restaurants, boutiques, Neptune Park, and the waterfront just minutes from your door.

Beach Gear Included Through Our VayKLife Partnership

Through Lilmar Vacations' partnership with VayKLife, qualifying reservations of 3 to 21 nights include a $30 per night credit toward beach gear rentals during your stay.

Choose from available bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and other eligible beach gear. VayKLife makes enjoying the island easy, with selected gear delivered directly to your vacation home and picked up after your stay.

A Summer Hour Retreat offers the best of both worlds: a quiet place to settle in and unwind, with the heart of St. Simons Island's Village just a short walk away.

The inviting front porch creates a natural gathering place for slow mornings and evening conversations, while two spacious balconies provide additional places to enjoy the coastal air. A private patio and firepit offer another welcoming setting for relaxing together after a day spent exploring the island.

Inside, natural light and coastal-inspired finishes give the home a bright and comfortable feel. The main-floor living room offers generous seating and a large television, creating an inviting place for movie nights or simply relaxing at the end of the day.

A separate den just off the kitchen provides another flexible gathering space with an HD TV and second dining table, making it equally suited for morning coffee, board games, or giving everyone a little extra room to spread out.

Kitchen & Dining

The well-appointed kitchen pairs coastal style with generous space for preparing meals at home. High-end stainless steel appliances, wood countertops, glass-front cabinetry, and ample work surfaces make the kitchen both functional and inviting.

Two dining areas provide seating for up to ten, with the main dining table accommodating six and an additional table in the den seating four.

Whether you're starting the morning before a stroll into the Village or gathering around the table after a day on the island, the home's open and connected living spaces make it easy to enjoy time together.

Outdoor Living & Recreation

The outdoor spaces at A Summer Hour Retreat extend the living experience beyond the home's interior.
Enjoy coffee on the front porch, unwind on one of the private balconies, or gather around the firepit as the evening settles in.

On the garage level, guests will find a casual recreation area with ping pong, card games, and cornhole, providing a fun bonus space for both children and adults.
The garage recreation area is available for guest enjoyment but is not available for vehicle parking.

A Summer Hour Retreat is approximately 0.15 miles from the St. Simons Island Pier Village area, placing restaurants, boutiques, the Village Pier, St. Simons Lighthouse, Neptune Park, and other local favorites within easy walking distance.

The home's central Village setting makes it easy to enjoy dining, shopping, waterfront strolls, and many of St. Simons Island's most popular attractions while returning to a peaceful residential retreat at the end of the day.

Cancellation Policy for Reservations of 29 Nights or Less
• Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to arrival receive a 100% refund
• Cancellations made 14 to 29 days prior to arrival receive a 50% refund
