I think you will like my place! Its decorated like a beach house located in a tropical atmosphere with over 39 large palm trees, & lots of banana trees & thick green grass in the summer. You may see various wildlife that live along the creek bank like Raccoons, turtles, otters & Great Blue Herons! Im close to restaurants, nightlife, Historic sights, hospital (<10 min), shopping & FLETC (<3min). St Simons Island is about 15 minutes away & Jekyll Island about 25 minutes. Its a nice "simple" casual place. You have CH&A, full kitchen, washer & dryer, starter coffee, tea, sugar ect , all the basics you need. The bed is queen size, and the blue jean couch is comfortable. Its located on a tidal creek that's about 4' @ high tide & 0' @ low tide. Guests have access to the breezeway connecting the unit to my house where I have a patio table & 4 chairs & a charcoal grill, the hammock gazebo area next to the creek, the area immediately behind the unit w/table, chairs & umbrella & in the unit itself. Any other part of the property is my private area. Theres a wifi lock on the front door. Older established neighborhood with huge moss covered oaks & long winding roads. Its usually pretty quiet, BUT there can be the usual noise because humans live, work & play around here. Theres historic sites nearby, and lots of salt & freshwater waterways if you like boating, crabbing & fishing! Were not a large town, so you can mostly get anywhere in 30 minutes or less. I have a black doggy named Willow who may come by for a visit. She is a very friendly Staffy mix, but if you dont want her company let me know! Discounts for weekly and monthly stays.

***This is a "pet friendly" rental, so if you have allergies to any kind of pets, or are scared of any kind of animal it may not be a good choice for you. I have a friendly dog "Willow" you may encounter in the backyard.
*** PET POLICY: Max 2 pets allowed, and there is a $40 pet fee. Your dog MUST: get along with other dogs (because my dog Willow shares the yard too sometimes). Your dog must be on continuous flea treatment, NOT a meanie or destroyer, & you must clean up their mess outside & their hair inside. PLEASE bring two sheets to cover the couch in bed if your dog he likes to get on the furniture. Take them home to wash.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please strip the beds & gather the towels, washcloths, kitchen towels & start load in washing machine theirs soap & bleach in cabinet above. Use one load. Do basic cleanup don't leave dirty dishes.
Shoot me a text when you leave so I will know to come clean. Don't throw away food, me, my dog, or helper may enjoy it
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

NOT A PARTY HOUSE! Keep noise from pets, people etc to a minimum. Clean up after yourselves & pets. No public drunkenness. Take care of my property!

A golf trip

This property was perfect for the trip as i was able to come back and relax and save money by cooking on my own instead of eating out. This property has a beautiful view, easy access to several stores and other amenitys around the city.

Great place for people with a dog and 3 kids!

We had a great time here mountain biking and seeing the sights. Very pet friendly and a nice open backyard. Comfortable, simple and adequate. Shelley communicated very quickly and was very friendly giving ideas for what to see/experience in the area.

Great visit!

First VRBO trip. The house was perfect for us. Close to the beaches. We didn’t need the kitchen bc we wanted to explore the local restaurants. It appeared well stocked. I highly recommend for a quick trip!

Perfect Getaway Spot

This is our second time staying here. The location is easy to get in and out of. Short drive to St. Simon's Island and Jekyll Island. We enjoyed relaxing in the hammocks and drinking coffee in the morning. We stayed over Christmas. I asked the host if there were any Christmas decorations that we could put up to make it festive. Upon arrival, there were little bits of Christmas sprinkled throughout. :)

What a (Re)Treat!

After unloading our things into the clean (and I believe more spacious than the photos show) studio, my daughters and I walked to the tidal creek. While we were watching crabs climb trees, we met our host, who was kind to offer recommendations for food and excursions. I chose the home based on its proximity to stores and a tournament we attended, but the home felt more tucked away than I would’ve imagined being only a few minutes from shopping centers. We had friends over and we were all comfortable, despite it being a studio. St. Simons and Jekyll were quick drives away, so sightseeing was easy. If we have reason to come back to the area, I’ll absolutely reserve one of Schelley’s places!

Great Cozy Getaway!

Beautiful cottage

The cottage was very clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed tje dog, Willow. She was so friendly and loved it when I was sitting in the yard. The host was beyond helpful. I would definately recommend this place.

The property was very beautiful! The view out back at sunset was amazing. The location is great for day visiting St. Simmons and Jekyll. The rental house itself was clean anx very comfortable!
