Great Hotel
The hotel is in a great location. The check in was smooth and the hotel is fabulous inside. The rooms wee clean and comfortable.

Lovely hotel welcome desk and breakfast nook. However hotel room had old and worn bed, furniture, decor and linens. Needs updating and better cleaning.

Terrible place. The bathroom heating was not working. No curtains or privacy in the bathroom. The bed mattress does not stay symmetrical. Four flights of stairs with out any elevator. The biggest problem is the bathroom heating when the. Temperature was 40 degrees inside. Can u imagine a bathroom without any curtains? I had to skip shower. I am going to request refund from Expedia. I traveled around the world but never had such a bad experience with a hotel.

The location is great in the middle of the old town. From the moment I walked in the staff was courteous and helpful. My room was a bit small but there are larger rooms to book

Very pleasant stay! Beautiful view and convenient location. It’s in walking distance to most famous spots in Brugge and when the wether is fine, open your windows in the early mornings, quiet and cool experience awaits. Helpful staffs and working amenities. However, there is no elevator so if you have a heavy luggage, consider living on the lower floors.

Our stay here was amazing! The staff was exceptionally nice, welcoming and helpful. The place was clean, from the entrance to our room. The location can’t be beat and we were able to walk everywhere in the wonderful city of Bruges. Thank you so much for having us!

Nice hotel in great location in Brugge.
I had a great time here in Brugge. The hotel is beautiful. Old with charm yet Chan and well taken care of. It's more of a large bed and breakfast than a hotel. It feels like you are staying in a large house between the two biggest cathedrials in town. You are close to everything. I like that i had drinks in my room and the prices weren't bad at all. Maybe a €1 more than a store. The bed was really comfortable. The room was small, but it's Europe, i expect that. The bathroom was large and well set up. Good water pressure and heat. I had a ground floor room and never heard the other guests. There is a nice patio and the host give great information on bars and restaurants. Even in this quiet town they pointed out some amazing Kate night pubs with more beer than one could drink in a lifetime. I'll stay here next time in Brugge

very cute and quaint, seems to be family owned, everyone is very friendly, no early-check in available (tough on those transatlantic jet lagged travelers like myself) but very historic. price reasonable.

Attractive hotel, in the heart of the old city. Fairly large and well-furnished room, good value for money. Most of the staff very friendly and helpful. There for two nights, and it was an ideal base for sightseeing.

Nice hotel in excellent location
Nice room in a historic building full of character. Location is perfect for all parts of the town. Staff were friendly and the free coffee machine was good. We were at the top of the building which involved around 60 steps, but it was fine for us and we enjoyed the view.. The only negative was the very poor soundproofing between rooms. We could clearly hear the person in the next room snoring and speaking, moving around etc, so it was not easy to sleep.

This is a beautiful hotel in a convenient location. The many steep staircases make it difficult to haul luggage up to the rooms. The bed in our room was THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE BED in which we have ever slept in our 65 years. We are not picky people. We told the staff that it needed to be replaced.

Super Cozy, Great Location with not so good bed
The Hotel Gheestelic Hof is a beautiful hotel, in the steps from the historic center of Brugge. When we first walked in, we loved the homey feel of the place, and how it felt authentic. The staff was incredibly helpful and sweet. Our room was lovely too, and a it more modern feeling than the rest of the hotel. We were on floor 1, facing the street, so it was a little noisy. You can hear every conversation of everyone walking by on the street below. The room was clean and nice, however the bed was terrible. It sunk deeply into the middle so both my wife and myself kept rolling onto each other in our sleep. If we were staying longer than one night I would have said something.

The check-in process was disappointing because it was confusing. The woman who checked us in did not inform us that we would need to climb three flights of stairs or ask to assist us with our bags. She rushed up the stairs without letting us know where we were going and did not wait for us to follow. Our bathroom did not have a full shower, just a tub with a handheld showerhead. As we were on the top floor, the roof was slanted, so no one over 5'2" could fit in the space where the glass would keep the water from getting all over the bathroom. However, the other woman we interacted with was very helpful. One person in our party was sick during our stay, and she helped us get to a hospital. She assisted in bringing our bags downstairs at check out, and she called us a taxi. She even provided her personal cell phone number in case we needed to get our bags after hours when we were finished at the hospital. So all-in-all the experience depended on who was at the front desk.

Hotel is great mix of modern and medieval; spacious and comfortable accommodations with good location; keepin’ it weird with pop star themed rooms. But the best amenity was the kind, attentive and gracious couple who received and helped us during our stay...such a relief and joy to find innkeepers who seem to enjoy their business. Would return, and recommend.

This hotel is located between the city center and the train station, great location. The small town is Beautiful and hotel was more of a B&B style. Our room had a view of the pretty garden patio, with a full dining table, chairs and tent. The only complaint is that one night a group of guest decided to sit in the garden late into the night and talked loudly. Free Wifi is only good in the garden, not so good in our room. The housekeeping kept our room super clean and fully stocked, she even let us check out early when the front desk wasn't there.

Great location one block away from the main shopping street. Rooms were clean and hotel offered complimentary coffee and tea throughout the day. I would absolutely stay here again. Definitely recommend staying a night in Bruges so you can walk the city when it is so crowded. A day trip from Brussels or Gent is doable, but you'll miss some of the charm of Bruges when the streets are packed with other day- trippers, especially on weekends. If you are looking for a good inexpensive meal, head over to Bocca for take out pasta and have a picnic on the steps of Sint-Salvatorskathedraal or in one of the nearby parks. Good craft coffee can be found at Li o Lait.

The hotel has an excellent location. Less than 3 mins walk to main shopping streets leading to the market and other areas of interest. The staff were very helpful. Having a complementary drinks station was a great idea.
