"We had a lovely stay at the gite. Karine, the manager, is wonderful and very communicative. We had a problem with one of the beds and it got sorted out straight away ☺️ The only critic I have is that my son was very excited about being able to play pool but the table is in such a strange place, it is impossible to play.. the table is wonky so the balls just roll to the side and there is not enough room to go around the table either. "Great communication from Julie from the very beginning of the booking process. The house is located on a canal with endless walking and running routes. Great local brasseries for dinner, Louvre Lens is 30 min away. Charlie our dog had an amazing time and is currently fast asleep and shattered. "Upon arrival the owner met us and unlocked the front door to reception, not friendly at all, we were told restaurant was available only for breakfast which was too late for us as we were catching a ferry. We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least.
