"A perfect B&B - tiny but exquisitely appointed little studio apartment in the idyllic surrounds of an acreage property, 10min drive from Torquay. All you need with a little kitchen and fridge The host was very accomodating with great communication and they honestly thought of everything - from slippers as the tiles are cold to a spare toothbrush in case you forget yours, a collection of teas, every type of milk you could want, eggs from the chooks and delicious biscuits left for us next to an antique tea set.My daughter (10) and I visited Torquay for music festival and it was magical to be able to uber back to a quiet, cozy place and wake up with a view. Electric blanket kept us cozy when we got back and Mardi left us carrots to feed to horses in the morning. For anyone with mobility issues please be aware there is a flight of stairs up to the apartment."

"Practical sized room for an overnight stay. Bathroom shower water wet a larger area than I’d like, hot water was excellent. We dined at the same venue, simple well proportioned meals at very good value and taste.

"Charleson farm is magical! The hosts were Fantastic- super responsive and great communication before and during our stay. The house was beautifully presented and the property was so much fun to explore. Having the ponies just outside the window (they checked first with us if this was ok or we wanted them in the paddock) was so much fun for everyone. We loved the cows, goats and ponies and spotting the kangaroos too. The teens/ young adults loved a dip in the pool each night as the sun was setting. And the indoor fire was wonderful as the day was very chilly. We will certainly be booking in again to stay here. "

"We stayed over a wet weekend and found it to be a cosy place to be as a family.The tasteful decoration and quality products (amazing mattress!) made it very comfortable.We had an issue with some minor flooding due to so much rain but the property manager were very responsive and helped us with extra towels. These things happen!Would highly recommend this for a cosy getaway close to the beaches and Torquay."
