We had a very relaxing stay, loved the view and although it was cold outside, we were cozy and warm inside. Our host was quick to respond and made our stay a very memorable one! "Pretty horrible experience. The house smelled horribly of sewer. We contacted the host and was told that the cleaning lady never mentioned the smell and to run water in the drains. We did however, the smell permeated throughout the house the entire stay. The host did not contact us after we reported it to check on us. Four of us left feeling very ill. We also tried to use the oven however that had oven cleaner still caked on it. That also smelled horrible and we were not able to use the oven. Very disappointed in the whole situation. This was our second time renting this place and we were very disappointed. "

"This is a very older motel with I am sure with original furniture. The pillows on the bed very flat! The lamps questionable if you can turn them off or on and stay. Minimal outlets. No continental breakfast, there is coffee sometimes, the culligan style water bottle is room temperature in the lobby. Did not go into the pool area. Had to check to be the toilet so it was not continuous run. Did not need to use the shower in the room. I believe the upper level rooms are rented. The staff people are helpful telling about places to eat and always polite. The room was clean. "
