ABOUT TOBY'S CRAB SHACK:
Toby's Crab Shack is a little piece of heaven right on the ocean in Brookings, Oregon - the banana belt of Oregon due to the unusually nice weather compared to the rest of the coast. Please note the icon on the map view is incorrect. Toby's is actually 2 miles north of Harris Beach and sits on a bluff right over the ocean at Rainbow Rock.

Stand in the living room, dining room, kitchen, or on the balcony to enjoy breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean and beachfront. Fishing boats, whales, sea lions, and waves crashing against the big rocks are just some of the things you can experience right from your comfortable chair in the Condo. Walk down the beach trail that is full of beautiful plants, bushes, and trees to arrive at a fabulous, secluded beach with tide pools and walk through the cave.

Toby's is one of the more updated units and is very clean, neat, and tastefully furnished with comfortable furnishings in a subtle and calming color palette.

Settle in with the comforts of home at this condo in a peaceful, gated complex. Toby's is at the very end of the complex which creates a quiet setting and an unobstructed view to the south and west, both facing the ocean.

Brookings is a quaint town right on the ocean in southern Oregon only minutes from the California border.

PLEASE NOTE: The fireplace is not able to be used. No; boats, trailers, RVs, Smoking of any kind, animals, fireworks at all anywhere, fires on the beach below, or children under 9 years of age are allowed at Toby's Crab Shack. Thank you for your cooperation.

Perfect place to stay in Brookings

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Toby's Crab Shack. The condo layout worked great for our family of four and it's so well stocked! The owners have thought of everything and the views are incredible. We'd absolutely stay again!

Wonderful condo with a fantastic view.

The home is fabu and the view is incredible. But the hostess, Valerie, is better than all of that. She called us before the tsunami warning and let us know what the sheriff was telling her. We left, to be safe, and Valerie made sure we were safe, invited us to her place, higher ground.

Phenomenal Stay

Property was as advertised--so clean, great amenities, beautiful view, and awesome location on the coast close to many points of interest. It was everything we were looking and hoping for. Property manager was lovely to work with, and made sure we had everything we needed.

The accommodations were clean and updated. All the furniture is very comfortable. We didn’t cook but the kitchen is well stocked. The view is outstanding.

Best seascape in the best condo that we've ever stayed in on the Oregon coast.

We've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed in the accommodations. We come here to relax and take in the grandjour of the Pacific. One cannot look upon such power and beauty and not give praise to our most Sovereign and amazing God. How great and magnificent is our God!

Lovely views

The property was lovely - beautiful views, excellent supples in the kitchen, comfortable master bed, as well as a comfortable couch in the living room. Unfortunately we left the unit very early, each morning, to go fishing, and didn't have enough time to enjoy the unit and the property. We plan to come again!!!

30 year anniversary vacation

The condo was everything as advertised and more. What a beautiful view of the ocean! Valerie was a wonderful host! Valerie called us two days before our vacation, to advise us of some road closures in the area. This was very helpful on our trip to the condo.

A Gem with a View

Toby’s crack shack is an invitation into a rental unit that is clearly used and loved by its owners. The view is absolutely stunning and the condo is very well stocked and comfortable. This is one VRBO listing that is as good or better than it appears online. A gem on the Southern Oregon Coast.

A short stay in Brookings

We stayed at the property for a few days in early October. It is in a gated condominium complex on the bluffs to the north of Brookings which is about a 7 minute drive away. Outstanding view of the Pacific and we saw seals and whales from the deck. The property was exceptionally clean and well appointed with everything you need for a nice stay. There are some nice beaches to walk on (or hike to) that are within a 5 minute drive. Overall, a very nice place to stay if you do not mind a short drive to places where you can go for a walk or to go into town.

What my soul needed!

Toby’s Crab Shack is a little piece of heaven! There is not one thing I would have changed or asked for differently. The view is incredible! Breathtaking! I will be back…not soon enough though!

A comfortable spot with with an unforgettable view

What an unforgettable view of a dramatic southern Oregon coastal cove, ideal with both a sitting-patio option and an indoor viewing nook with panoramic windows. The place is very clean and the furnishings are quite comfortable. Being a corner-unit, it also feels relatively private. The complex was serene and simple to navigate. Communication with the host was exceptional and our experience went very smoothly. I couldn't have asked for better.

35th Anniversary

We celebrated our anniversary this week. We try and go to the coast every year. This condo was a beautiful place with a beautiful view. The alcove was a perfect place to read and nap. The biggest downside to it was the walk to the beach. The path is well laid out and marked, but the trip back up was quite challenging if your not used to walking uphill,

This is a wonderful place to stay! It is even nicer than the pictures. The view was outstanding! Because of the way the property was situated you get a bit of a sunrise view as well as a sunset. I woke up early most mornings and sat in the chairs facing windows on 3 sides and just soaked in the view. The condo was also super clean and very well equipped. The reclining chairs and all the beds were very comfortable. As well, the manager of the property, Valerie, was excellent (very helpful with prompt communication). We have already recommended the place to others and would love to return.

Fabulous birthday retreat

Valerie puts the personal human contact into VRBO. She called me twice before my visit with information, which provided easy contact with her when the storms encouraged me to delay my visit two days. Valerie’s responses were quick and helpful. The condo is perfect in every way! It’s the best location in Rainbow Rock Condos. I appreciated their precious water conservation advice and their concern about fires on the nearby beach leading to wildfires. Recycling is great too! And, the view is so relaxing and healing!

Lovely condo overlooking the Pacific

Tony’s is a great rental on the Oregon coast. The condo is impeccably furnished and the views are perfect. We had a little trouble opening the lockbox for the door key (just a little difficult to grasp and pull out, likely from inexperience), but once inside we were drawn to the expansive windows with the Pacific just outside. My daughter, in her 40’s, and 10-year old grandson walked the paths down to the beach and tide pools several times, but as a nearly 80-year old with not the best balance, I was somewhat daunted with the path all the way down. However, we picked the abundant blackberries partway along the beach path, and I even made a blackberry cobbler with supplies in the kitchen! Perfect finish to a restaurant left-overs dinner while sitting at the dining table with those to-die-for views. Tony’s is very convenient to Hwy. 101 and Brookings. The garage for one car is an added bonus. I’d stay here again!

Peaceful rest.

This was the perfect spot for our family. We loved walking down to the beach at low tide and finding the cave tunnel! Also enjoyed the trail out back. Amazing views, clean and QUIET property. Will definitely come again!

Beautiful Setting

The condo was clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was amazing and we were able to see seals laying on the rocks in the ocean every morning. The beach associated with the condo was our favorite beach to explore and were able to see tons of crabs, starfish, sea anemones. Would absolutely stay again!
