Family-friendly, newly remodeled home that comfortably sleeps 8. Huge kitchen stocked for all of your needs. If water and rest are what you seek, enjoy the river, hot tub and beach in this quiet location.

Cozy rocking chairs on the front covered porch or sitting out on the patio are the perfect places to catch the morning sun for a relaxing coffee or breakfast while watching the neighbor’s horses run in the pasture across the street.
Watch the fish jump, ducks land or otters play in the Winchuck River at the back edge of the property from the comfort of the upper deck hot tub. You‘ll have 7 seat options to choose from. Patio lights and colored tub fountains give ambiance for a romantic evening in this private setting.
If you enjoy cooking, you’ll love our newly remodeled kitchen including granite countertops and stainless steel appliances (the stainless fridge is on its way). Bring your food, this kitchen is ready to go. Enjoy the views from the deck while grilling on the BBQ or dining outdoors.

The home comfortably sleeps 8 in two rooms. One room has a queen and mirrored closet. The other has a queen and a wall of 4 twins. Each bedside lamp and twin cubby have their own usb and outlet so you won't miss out on taking photos of memories. The bathroom has a shower. You'll find bath and outdoor towels for your adventures in the river.

The ground floor is not used. The entire space is on the upper floor or outdoors. None of the space is shared.

You’ll have the run of the property. From the patio seating, front porch rockers and side yards to the upper deck with hot tub and BBQ, down to the Winchuck river’s edge.

Family Getaway

Beautiful scenery, lovely neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen, with quality cookware and dishes. Host was quick to respond, check in was seamless. House has nice big windows, allowing a light breeze through the house when open. The horses next door completed the stay.

Gorgeous living room views!

We loved the house, very clean and tidy. Absolutely stunning view off the deck, the reflections of the trees on the water in the still morning was breathtaking. We would love to stay in this house again the next time we are in town, highly recommend!

Cozy cottage

Lovely little cozy cottage in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. This cottage is so close to all the beaches. It was so nice waking up in the morning with a view of the sea otters on the river. The BBQ, deck and hot tub was so nice. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to reset and recharge this is the place.

This Riverside Cottage near the ocean was a nice comfortable relaxing, quiet place to stay! Jonathan the host was very informative and helpful. The Hot Tub was clean and amazing! I would highly recommend this beautiful Riverside Cottage getaway for anyone that needs to decompress and a needed vacation!!

We Loved our stay at the Riverfront Cottage! The cottage is right on the bank of the Winchuck River, just a 1/4 mile kayak from the beach. My family rented this location to be our home base as we explored the Jedediah State Redwood park during the days. We capped off every evening with a kayak down to the beach to watch the sunset. We explored the river further upstream as well - seeing fish, cranes, ducks, and so many other birds! My teenage kids adored our time on e river and in the hot tub. The property manager, Jonathan, was very helpful, clear, and quick to respond to any questions. We look forward to staying here again!

Home away from home!

The entire house was clean, the check in process was extremely easy. The hosts were very accommodating. The jacuzzi was clean and hot! I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Brookings and surrounding areas! It’s not far from town and close to the beach. The view of the river and the horses in their pastures felt like home. We will definitely be back

Everything we were hoping for and more!

Thank you! This place is beautiful, peaceful and, joyful. We loved our stay. Kayaking on the shallow river, grilling hamburgers and using the hot tub! It was nice to wake up and see a beautiful peaceful barn with horse and the river. It had a very easy location to go where we wanted to go. We had an amazing trip! Cynthia

My kids and I loved the house and location. My kids explored the area, fished, met some horses. Wild blackberries on site were lovely with pancakes. My favorite thing to do was sit on the deck and enjoy the peace and watch the kids. So close to everything yet the feeling of seclusion was perfect.

Perfect Vacation

We loved staying at this home. It is comfortable and located in a great spot. The deck is a highlight, and it allows for a nice spot to relax and enjoy the river. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet. We kayaked on the river everyday. It is a beautiful and tranquil paddle, and you can go right down to the ocean! Many great hikes and beaches are nearby as well. This is a truly wonderful home in a fabulous location. We highly recommend.

The property was okay to stay at. We were somewhat concerned with the hot tub cleanliness. It was pretty dirty when we stayed. The view is beautiful and it was cozy and quiet. Beds were very hard and a little uncomfortable. The house itself was very clean and neat. The stay was good overall. Oh, and no coffee creamer. I guess we could’ve brought our own.

Relaxing

The house was super clean and the hard wood floors made it easy to sweep up any rxtra sand that made it inside. The hottub was perfect for a relaxing evening after hanging out with friends and spending time at the beach which was within 5 minutes away, highly recommend agate beach for rock lovers! The tv was pre set with all the streaming services to watch and there were plenty of games to enjoy at the table which was big enough to enjoy eachothers company and meals. There were lots of blankets in the room with the bunk beds. The kitchen was very nice with plenty of dishes and a roomie fridge. The river was so peaceful to watch from the deck and in the hottub. The property manager was more than helpful and very quick to respond he really made this trip easy and stress free for us!

We had a fabulous time, the hot tub was the highlight and scenery around the property. Not very good cell service or wifi so come ready to spend time with loved ones and in nature. The property manager is great and quick to respond. Very spacious with lots of places for the family to sleep and have their own space to chill. Oh! And they have a ton of towels which is great for water play and hot tubbing.

Peaceful Getaway

Cute little property down a rural drive, with ample parking and friendly neighbors. The house had everything we needed to cook meals, and the cookware was high quality. The veiw of the river is beautiful, and in the mornings we got to watch otter playing. The hot tub was great after being out and about all day, and enjoying dinner on the deck. Loved the large windows in the house, The host was very responsive. We had a great time.

Awesome spot right by the river!

We had such a great stay! Kitchen is extremely well appointed and thought out, right down to clips for your chips! Johnathon was prompt with any questions we had. Beautiful spot right on the river to watch Blue Heron and river otter right from the hot tub! Only thing to improve is a few more spots to hang your towels.

Riverfront paradise

We had an amazing experience. The property is very updated and comfortable. Communication with the owner was swift. Everything one needs to feel at home was well thought out. We had many relaxing days in the hot tub. The property is located in a quiet area. The views of the river were perfect for birdwatching and we even got to see an otter fishing in the river right in front of us.

We took a small family weekend getaway this was the perfect house for our family! The double bunk beds and large bed in 1 room was perfect for all my kids. The toys, board games and Netflix access was a huge hit with my kids and the hot tub was a great way to end the night for my husband and I, the kids loved it as well. The country river sounds were amazing to fall asleep to. We wipe definitely book with this property again! The kitchen is well stocked and supplied

Hidden Gem

This little cottage was great! My family loved the quiet peacefulness of the location. The place is incredibly close to 101, but the tranquilty makes you feel like you're a million miles away. You can truly watch the fish from the deck or while enjoying the hot tub. The entire house was well stocked and perfect for a family of five. We cooked all of our meals on site and were surprised at how well the kitchen was equipped, right down to spices in the cabinet and chip clips for open bags! We enjoyed every minute of our stay, my only complaint is that I didn't reserve our stay for longer. Book the lovely place, you won't be disappointed!
