"Nice host. Communicative. They even left us a bottle of wine. But all that seems geared toward getting good reviews on VRBO. It was a sweet little space, emphasis on the LITTLE. The room was pretty dusty. And the drinking water came from previously used plastic containers. Overall, a serviceable room that did its job. But we paid a sizable adeposit (!) that has still not been refunded almost 2 weeks after our stay. "

"This is a super unique property, chiseled into the side of a mountain above Santa Cruz, in the Santa Cruz range no less. Excellent and amazing hiking right near by at Castle Rock State Park. "Beautiful property with amazing decks! It’s obvious this was once a high end home, and is now a rental (carpets show their wear, etc). But for the price, in that area, we were very happy. We fit 2 families with 10 teens/adults very comfortably. Some things were left undone by the cleaning staff, so we went searching for sheets, hand towels, toilet paper etc, but the bathrooms were very clean and the owner was super responsive and sent someone that same day to finish the rest."
