"Paradise in the Woods", formerly known as "On Golden Pond"

Looking for the perfect Getaway? Our home is great for couples, families, honeymoons or retreats. Centrally located just minutes from the local area attractions, Broken Bow Lake, and Beavers Bend State Park! Even with your Own private fishing dock, on the Private shared pond!

This home features 2 large decks w/ rocking chairs and dining, a nice 4 person hot tub w/ privacy, gorgeous views of Paradise in the Woods and a private dock that is built out into the water for fishing or enjoying the sunrise while sipping your morning coffee. We’re surrounded by tall pine trees in a fantastic neighborhood with high end log homes. Drive 5 minutes to Broken Bow lake and take off on a day hike on gorgeous trails in the woods or rent a boat for the day for your group.

The great location of our Beautiful log cabin, makes it EASY enjoy live entertainment, visit the brewery, dine w/ friends, and enjoy all sorts of family activities like putt putt, go carts, Zip line adventures or the famous Hochatown MAZE, which is less than about 1 Minute away!

Our home is fully equipped w/ high end pine log beds (1 King, 1 Queen), full size leather futon in the living room, and 2 fold out memory phone twin beds, full size washer/dryer, large dining table, and nice open concept floor plan w/ 3 HDTV’s, cable, high speed internet, Wi-Fi, etc. The kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook onsite. Off the back porch, you will find the horse shoe pits for some good family competition. Sit around the fire pit at night and enjoy s’mores and stories. Fire up one of the 2 grills onsite while the kids fish in the stocked pond. Book your stay with confidence….as the owners, we take pride, and excellent care of this home to ensure your next vacation is worry free!

Get away with grandkids

A quick getaway before school starts. Two young boys really enjoyed fishing in the pond. We had a nightly horseshoe contest. The cabin was very nice and a great place to stay. We watched deer in the morning from the back patio so you felt like you were out in the country.

We had a great experience staying here. Cabin was very clean and welcoming. We enjoyed relaxing in Hot Tub after hiking trails at Beaver Bend State Park. Kids enjoyed playing the many games they had in front of fireplace. Also enjoyed spending the nights outside around the fire pit. We will definitely be back❤️

Family Getaway!!!

We enjoyed our stay so much! All of us had the opportunity to catch our first fish at the dock, and we all slept so comfortably! When we got into bed the first night you could smell the detergent which was blissful!!! The market around the corner was a nice convience, but it was expensive! However we enjoyed going to Hey Sugar every night for ice cream! It was quiet and perfect! We would love to return again another time.
