We absolutely loved this cabin, it was perfect for our family.
We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful stay. We enjoyed the fireplace by the creek and relaxing in the hot tub,
The place was so clean and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this cabin and definitely come back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Creekside Serenade. The cabin was spacious, clean and inviting. The kids enjoyed the creek outback. It was a little warm for a campfire but the set up there was nice. We did have an issue with someone shooting, what appeared to be a BB, into the kitchen window during the middle of the night, but the maintenance personnel was very kind, despite the early morning call, and came out to inspect without us having to interrupt our plans. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
We spent a 3 day weekend here and enjoyed it very much. Lovely setting with a nice stream in the back and a smaller brook running along one side.
If we had to pick one negative it would be noise pollution, the properties are close enough together that we could hear the neighbors a lot. The property is also not long distance as the crow flys off a very busy highway and you hear the trucks and other traffic quite well.
While the noise did not ruin our trip it was noticeable.
The place is very nicely equipped, we lacked for nothing. Internet/Wi-Fi worked well for those needing to stay connected, a video conference was required while there and it went off without a hitch.
Can’t speak to the tv or cable as we never turned one on for our entire trip, the area is just to beautiful to waste your time there in front of the tube.
Our family of 5 loved our 4 night stay here. Our kiddos loved exploring the creek area, even our teens! The fire pit and hot tub were perfect after long days hiking. The cabin was clean, fully stocked, and the hosts were quick to answer our questions. We loved the location-out of the business of the towns, but a quick, easy drive in for all the fun activities. We will be back for sure!
Perfect getaway before back-to-school. The creek behind the cabin was amazing. My 7 year old played in it the entire time we were at the cabin. You don't need to take much with you since this cabin is equipped with everything you could think of. We would definitely rent this cabin again!
We had such a nice relaxing time this weekend! We basically lived outside around the fire pit and the creek was so peaceful! Wonderful retreat for a much needed get-away.
The cabin is as pictured. It’s clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. There was plenty of space for our family to spread out and to gather together. The creek is perfect and we loved spending time by it.

Dirty, smelly and out dated/busted hot tub
We arrived to an overwhelming odor of cigarette smoke in the cabin. We were able to get some relief by opening windows for a few hours.
The real fun began when we started unpacking and found various trash and debris left in the night stands and the sofa bed in the living room. There were all kinds of crumbs and stains on the mattress protector and sheets my wife found.
The cabin has a pretty strict no early check in policy because of the alleged time they spend ‘cleaning’ but we’ve stayed in way less expensive places that were a lot cleaner.
When we finally thought we’d get a chance to relax, we saw that the hot tub had a floating plastic piece in the bottom ( we assume from one of the jets) and two of the jet control buttons on the top of the tub had been broken off. The hot tub itself was hot but out dated and made a buzzing sound that terrified us.
One of the guest rooms (downstairs) has a locked closet and no dresser so if you planned on having another guest unpack you can forget that idea.
Lots of dust and evidence of either poor cleaning or no cleaning going on throughout the cabin.
The location itself is convienent and beautiful if you can get past these issues but we stay in broken bow every year and I assure you there are better deals to be found.
We aren’t exaggerators or hard to please people, I took photographs of all the things mentioned above if anyone needs to see them.
My group and I had a wonderful time during our stay. The cabin was clean and cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked with a variety of utensils, cookware, and even spices! We had a weird time trying to check in because we hadn't received the email for the full process, however, once I was able to get in contact with the owners things went very smoothly.
The creek is cute and we enjoyed listening to it along with a fire in the fire pit. Fire wood was stacked under the porch. Everything we needed like towels, soap, toilet paper, dish soap, even some spices and a little coffee was provided. In one of the pictures online it shows a Keurig, but don’t bring kcups, there isn’t a Keurig any more.
Pros: The cabin is the most well-equipped rental we have ever visited. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots/pans, blender, toaster, crockpot, blender, coffee pot & Keurig! We appreciated the starter supplies: toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods and plenty of towels for the hot tub. The furnishings were high end and in good condition. The creek behind the cabin was fun for my kids to explore and beautiful to listen to. It is close to restaurants and only about 15-20 minutes to the lake and most activities. We appreciated the privacy as the cabin is surrounded by trees (summer). The property managers were very prompt in replying to my questions.
Negatives: We arrived and were hit with a strong smell of smoke when we entered the cabin. (It dissipated throughout our stay but I wished I had brought a candle). It started the visit on the wrong foot. The cabin was not very clean: layer of dust on furniture, dirty floors (our feet were black), shower curtain was moldy (which the property manager replied they would promptly take care of). When you spend that much money you have high expectations. The oven does not maintain the temp it was set on (cookies took 30 minutes to bake). The cabin is on a very narrow gravel road. We found it was easier and less dusty to come in from the opposite direction (Timber creek trail to deer park trail). There are not many pictures or much description on VRBO about the cabin. We love details and read all reviews in choosing where we stay. So I wanted to include things that stuck out to us during our visit.
All in all, it was a nice time and the cabin kept us very comfortable. Would we stay here again? Probably not, but we are picky about cleanliness.
We had a great time at the cabin. Everything was very clean and in order. We really enjoyed the fire pit which is situated right outside the cabin and in front of the creek. Our five year old had so much fun exploring and skipping rocks. The beds were more comfortable than any hotel we've stayed in. Overall great experience!
We had a great time this weekend. There are other cabins nearby but you still have plenty of privacy here. Also, the entire property was very clean. We plan to stay here again in the future!
Nice quiet location with the creek close by. Cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed for an enjoyable weekend.

The cabin was very pretty just not very clean. We could not sleep on the pillows because of the stains. The washing machine was smelly and nasty. There were cobwebs everywhere.
This was a beautiful cedar cabin with a little creek behind it that the grandkids loved playing in, even caught a few small bass. Got to make s’mores and roast hotdogs on the fire pit! Would definitely want to stay here again. Thank you for a great experience!!
