Escape to this spacious 3-bedroom pole house, tucked away in a quiet cul-de-sac surrounded by native bush, offering the perfect mix of privacy and convenience. The home features living areas on the main level and bedrooms upstairs, providing plenty of space for families or small groups. Step out onto the large deck to relax, unwind, and enjoy the peaceful bushland setting.

The house sleeps comfortably with one double and four single beds, and is fully screened to let the breeze in while keeping the bugs out. Inside, you’ll find a colour TV with FOXTEL, automatic washing machine, a full-size bath, and two toilets for convenience. The gas BBQ on the deck makes outdoor dining a breeze, and there’s undercover car parking for peace of mind.

Centrally located, the property is just a short drive to shops and your choice of stunning beaches, making it the ideal base for your island getaway.

Please return keys to the drop off box outside the Ray White Office on the day of departure.

Beautiful location, but be prepared with basic items

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is in a lovely location amongst the trees, lots of wildlife around. Great spot in Point Lookout, handy to everything. However, there were no cloths or scrubbers for washing up, no laundry detergent despite having a washing machine, no dish washing detergent, no salt or pepper or anything in the kitchen, no paper towels, no bin liners. In my opinion, these things should be provided in a fully self contained rental property and because they were not, we had to buy all of them from the local shop. The “queen bed” is also small - it is a double, not a queen.

Reviewer Comments: It was clean enough and spacious with a feel good vibe when entering. It did creak which was awesome and I did hear a native animal in the early hours crashing around the roof which was also awesome as I love straddie and its wildlife. I was close to main just up the track which passed a goanna and other tracks to sandhills. Awesome. there could have been a heater and maybe a rug for the winter. I did not see more than one bug which was outside and I shut the door. The microwave, fridge oven and cupboards and pull out divans were clean and nice. Everything was well presented and I made myself at home. My little grandson loved all the games which I put back. I needed longer as I did not want to leave. Nice neighbours and of course wildlife. I didnt get time to use the barby but it was not cleaned from the last naughty user. I would have cleaned it before use anyway. There were plenty of matching plates and I did not need to bring anything. The water was hot and I did not miss a dishwasher or air con. I loved it. It took me a while to master the driveway. I would not want anyone else to stay there as I want it for myself. Its a great winter escape except for the heater.

The house was mostly tidy inside. Things that would improve people's stay are a Cockroach treatment. Relocation the two beautiful green frogs in the upstairs toilet also replace the broken toilet seat. A vac under the main bed. Clean/ repair fly screens in single bedrooms. A decent set of crockery, cutlery, glasses and cups for six people.. A clean oven. A garden blow of the barbecue area. The broken furniture stack removed. There was heaps of laundry and dishwasher liquid that we were advised to bring so please update your visitor advise page. Need to advise to bring own toitet paper. Thank you very much to Mark for his amazing prompt help to get the TV working and supplying the batteries for the remote. The wild life that visited us each day was very entertaining. Loved watching the goanna that climbs the verandah.

Perfect location for us, we lived on the huge deck all week watching the wildlife come and go, koala, kangaroos, bird life, goanna. The size of the house was perfect for our large family and cannot wait to come again. We enjoyed Straddie prawns, walking to the Gorge and seeing the whale highway and marine life go by and indulging in Gelato each day. A perfect place to get away and forget the city life. Not overpriced either which made it family friendly and affordable. Highly recommend.

Deep cool veranda in the treetops, perfect for the too-hot part of the day and for spotting koalas and birds. Easy walk to key attractions - Cylinder beach, Main beach, gelato shop, gorge walk and pub. Good washing machine, shower, water pressure and tv. Kitchen selection is eclectic, byo anything you can’t live without (eg. means of making coffee)

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice big holiday house perched in the treetops and well located for Point Lookout beaches and shops. There's lot of wildlife around the house: kangaroos, possums, goannas, etc. We had a lovely time, but the house could do with maintenance (new wire screens on windows are needed), there are too many appliances (like fans and lamps that don't work), and some updating to crockery, cookware, and cutlery would improve things. A bit more generosity with hand towels in toilets, garbage bags, etc is needed. And a decent clean of windows would lift the experience.

Sooooooo lovely

One of our favourite places to stay, now that we know it exists! Snagged a school holiday booking at the last moment and we could not have asked for a better location. Normally we stay right on the Point with the fantastic ocean views, but just for something different we went 'bush'. We were not disappointed. Asked property manager to remove clothes dryer as there isn't one on-site. All other requests quickly managed and friendly helpful staff at all times. Visits from local fauna welcomed and enjoyed. Close to everything, we will be back.

Quiet and Close to Everything

Location is most things on Holidays and this House was located in a great spot - really quiet, clean and the Ray white staff good to deal with. Loved dinner time with the family on the deck, house is well set up. Having Austar also helped keep the kids happy for the times we were not at beach. Thankyou
